FNC is a JUGGERNAUT not only every week day but on the weekends as well.
What’s their secret ?
They don’t hire repulsive talking heads, race baters, purveyors of mis-
information, Whitehouse surrogates and people with tingly leg syndrom.
Hey Msnbc: wanna improve ratings? Get rid of that fat racist Al Sharpton! And that little BOY rachael maddow.
Do you think MSNBC cares about ratings seems not. They hire haters like Al Sharpton, Rachel Mdcow ( who helped bring down Airamerica) Microsoft must be throwing money in the black hole of a network.
On weekends, FNC’s average in the primetime demo has consistently fallen below the total day average. Let’s see whether that is something that gets FNC concerned.
@AppleStinx: I’ve brought this up several times, although FNC is still ‘bleeding green’ (as in money). They have to attract more 25-54′s on primetime weekends. I’m TOLD that “Huckabee” gets good numbers. But, I wouldn’t be surprised if JUDGE Jeanine isn’t driving folks away. She was OK until she got her own show and literally SCREAMS to guests and to the folks at home.
But, I gotta give JUDGE Jeanine credit. A week ago, she had this female guest on the set and wouldn’t shut-up, so Jeanine tells the control room to “cut her mic.” LOL.
Being in politics and government most of my adult life, I have to say that once you’re no longer a judge, you need not be referred to as “Judge.” I’ve heard JUDGE Jeanine correct some of her guests who addressed her by her first name only. Same thing with former members of Congress and Governors. If you’re hosting a TV show, drop the formalities and be a regular person. I’m NOT saying that they shouldn’t be addressed by their formal title, I’m referring to those who host TV shows, etc.
I LOVE Huckabee….but his show opens with “LADIES & GENTLEMEN…GOVERNOR MIKE HUCKABEE.” That annoys me a bit.
But, returning to the subject at hand (sometimes I digress) FNC on weekends, they have to stop repeating and repeating the same shows. They must run “FOX News Sunday” five or six times on Sunday morning, Sunday afternoon, Sunday evening & Monday overnights.
@Ralph Hahn
Pirro had the same problem that plagued Juan Williams when first substituting for O’Reilly, which is to be so loud as if talking to an audience without the use of a microphone. Apparently they don’t get any introduction/advice when making the transition from commentator to host, and noone inhouse either cares or dares to give them feedback. For a new host, the first impression should be of the utmost importance.
