Yeah I was thinking that they might as well renew GG for a 22 episode final season, but they’ll probably do 13 episodes to start a new show at midseason but i don’t know though.

  • Don

Love HOD. Hope it gets renewed.

  • GG

GG doing amazing (for CW standards) after 5 years.

If it keeps its 0.6 demo, it might just get a FULL Final season. I hope.

And the show is getting back to its original roots, there no doubt it will stay increased and steady.

  • Kate

With all the pilots The CW has, GG will not get more than 22 episodes.

  • Jess

Nikita isn’t a bad lead in for supernatural. Nikita has way more viewers than GG just can’t break the demo. HOD continuely builds on the weakest lead in of GG. HOD picks up an additional 33% of GG viewers. I

  • Kate

Oops, I mean not more than 13 episodes.

  • Tahina

Well Castle doesnt look bad regardless, I wished if they will make announcements until they have all the numbers right.

  • The End

More like Nikita skews older and appeals to a different demographic compared to Supernatural. Supernatural would be better paired with a show that appeals to the same kind of audience.

By the way, Nikita looks fantastic on BR. Picked it up recently.

  • Kaylie

Go 2.5 Men & 2BG for topping Voice!

  • Networkman

I would renew Hart of Dixie and Nikita and cancel Ringer and The Secret Circle.

  • The End

    @The Secret Circle

After I made the effort to watch episode 1, this better not be cancelled.

Not my cup of tea but sat through it and thought it was okay. With the sheer number of CW viewers on here, I’m making the effort to view some stuff when I have the time.

Hart of Dixie stupid show ! boring storyline and entire season based just in a secret kiss :@ axe it !

    jealous ringer fan..

  • Beth

@ GG – GG isn’t increased, it’s holding steady with what it’s been doing. The demo for HOD and GG have held at .6 for the most part.

@CrimTV – GG’s ratings have been so low (highest 1.37, lowest just below a mill) that I think it’s not worth it for the CW. Ratings go up just a tiny bit for the season premiere and then fall steadily every season, so it will probably premiere to a 1.1 and fall below a million quickly, and continue to fall all season. I think 13 episodes make the most sense… unless the CW doesn’t have programming that can do better. Sad.

HOD is a new show,Spn has what like 5/6 season, by now it has a pretty loyal fan base. Freshmen shows need a good lead in to build a following.

I’m so happy HOD wasn’t adjusted down, I’m starting to think it will get renewed after all. I’m its CW’s highest rated new show.

  • The End

Speaking of Gossip Girl, with the show having 11 million likes on facebook, beating other shows getting 10 times the viewers. It’s incredible that it rates so lowly on the CW.

Nielsen ratings aside, this show has a fanbase worldwide. Incredible really.

Haven’t seen many 1 million rated shows, with 11 million facebook fans.

  • Jenny

Hart of Dixie Great show, Great writing, Great acting, Great eye candy

Very great good looking actors (men and women) on this show

  • Pete

    HOD is still toast

  • W

Awesome for all the comedies and H50! The crossover episode of H50 and NCIS: LA continues tonight! H50 and NCIS: LA were amazing last night!

  • sam

I love Castle, but when are you going to stop falling for the one minute of DWTS that goes to 10:01 and always inflates the Castle ratings? Castle is always adjusted down–maybe it should just be mentioned in the first results and ABC will stop doing this stupid bleed over.

  • Mickey 1.0

HOD is a new show,Spn has what like 5/6 season, by now it has a pretty loyal fan base. Freshmen shows need a good lead in to build a following.

Actually, it works the other way around usually. There is a natural attrition rate, shows always lose viewers over the years, though they will sometimes bump up in the middle, they always go down towards the end. New shows are supposed to do better than old shows.

That usual pattern might not hold true for the CW because lots of viewers have fled the network and aren’t checking out new shows (live anyway) so older shows with more established fanbases are standing up like bedrock under erosion.

Nonetheless, I wouldn’t bank on that helping the new shows. Because it doesn’t change the fact that new shows get their highest numbers in the beginning and then go down. So the CW is looking at 0.4s and 0.5s and 0.6s knowing those’ll likely go down from there (as they have been all season), and even if one of them is one of the exceptions that go up, it won’t be by much. So they will probably want to find new shows who score bigger out of the gate, than try to nurture shows that got off to a slow start.

Don’t get me wrong I’m rooting for HoD. I’ve only seen a couple of episodes but I like it, and I’ll watch the repeats this summer.
