The Celebrity Apprentice isn’t even doing that well. Third place? LOL Everybody is sick and tired of the vile, hateful bully Lisa Lumpanelli.

  • Karen C

GCB will NOT get renewed. Not with those numbers.

  • JR

Nielsen didn’t really release demo info too much when Golden Girls was on the air. I’m sure it did pretty well, though. The show had many young viewers.

GCB still faring better than Pan-Am did in its ninth episode- I know, not saying a lot. But, I do enjoy GCB, whereas in ever felt inclined to watch Pan-Am.

    This Week
The 10 pm #1 show on ABC is Private Practice

  • Bumfuzzled

The Good Wife- stupid name, best show on t.v. Excellent writing; great actors.

  • Andrew

Sundays at 10:00pm is a rough spot what with Mad Men being back on and everything.
I think if the GCB finale sees a bit of an increase then it might be given a 13 episode renewal.
As another poster mentioned, GCB is doing a whole hell of a lot better than Pan Am.

I think GCB should be renewed. Despite all these ratings dramas, this is the only show that has all the elements to be a long-lasting hit — a risky premise and start, fantastic writing, evolving intriguing storylines, a hugely talented, experienced cast plus fresh, new faces, and its hugely entertaining!

Awww, GCB, don’t die. I’m just starting to really like you.

Those ratings aren’t great. On the other hand, the amount of Gunsmoke Rule-in’ is pretty high in this thread. Right now, the show’s on the borderline and it could go either way. That’s not dead, let alone buried.

IT’S OK for OUAT!!! We love it

@sarahL Harry’s Law had the highest amount of viewers overall for that time slot and many others that night. Sure the viewers weren’t in th 18-49 demo but several studios have said they have been ignoring the baby boomers who are retiring and have more time for tv and more money to spend with their kids (hopefully) gone out of the house by now. I have seen several articles written about this shift..just look at TV Land and their shows for older folks. You may see a lot more coming down the pipeline soon. Mad Men did great with their older viewers and AMC picked up the pace of shows for older viewers. Now they are leaving shows up longer for the patient elders who will give a show a chance.

I love GCB, I do not get how some of these stupid shows stay on like the animated ones, how is the network rating these shows.

  • Linda

Am I the only one here that really doesn’t like OUAT and like GCB? I watched it and I agree with my aunt-they CANNOT act. The storyline is interesting enough, but the actors just aren’t pulling it off. At least GCB has quality actors to go with their comedy writers. The show has managed to make me laugh till I hurt then be like “AWWWW!” directly following.

Just sayin’. Emmys to Kristin Chenoweth and Miriam Shor!!!!

GCB, CANCELED, THAT SUAKS!!!!!!!! ABC is loosing it Desperate Housewives is going GCB would be the perfect fit for that time slot!!************
