For the third straight week, Univision was the #1 Network Pick on Friday Night among both Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34

 

Univision Broadcast Prime Highlights - Week of April 23, 2012 to April 29, 2012

  • · Univision was the #2 network during primetime last week among Adults 18-34, out-delivering ABC (+13%), CBS (+73%), and NBC (+34%)

ü This marks the sixth consecutive week that Univision has delivered more Adults 18-34 viewers than ABC and CBS.

ü For the thirteenth time out of the last fourteen weeks Univision has ranked #3 or higher among

A18-34.

 

  • · Univision out-delivered one or more of the English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) on six out of seven nights last week among Adults 18-49. Univision also out-delivered two or more of the English-Language broadcast networks on every night last week among Adults 18-34.

 

ü Based on the current 2011/2012 season to date, Univision has out-performed NBC during broadcast prime 78% of the time (175 out of 224 days) among Adults 18-34 and 52% of the time (117 out of 224 days) among Adults 18-49.

ü Additionally Univision has out-performed ABC on 60 nights, CBS on 37 nights, and FOX on 56 nights among Adults 18-49. Furthermore, among Adults 18-34, Univision has out-performed ABC on 129 nights, CBS on 144 nights, and FOX on 83 nights.

 

  • · Versus the comparable week a year ago, Univision’s primetime audience increased +9% among Adults 18-49, the largest increase of all the broadcast networks, while other English-language broadcast networks (ABC -8%, CBS -12%, NBC -21%, and FOX -14%) reported declines in the demographic.

 

  • · Airing “Una Familia Con Suerte” at 8PM, Univision ranked as the #2 broadcast network (based on M-F) among Adults 18-34, out-delivering ABC (+72%), NBC (+33%), and CBS (+47%) for the hour. The 8PM novela increased its audience versus the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (4.3 Million, +5%), Adults 18-49 (2.3 Million, +3%), and Adult 18-34 viewers (1.3 Million, +3%).

 

  • · Univision’s 9PM novela “Abismo de Pasion” (Abyss of Passion) helped Univision to rank as the #3 network for the hour among Adults 18-34. The novela averaged 4.3 Million Total Viewers 2+, 2.2 Million Adults 18-49, and 1.2 Million Adults 18-34 viewers.

 

  • · During the 10PM hour (based on M-F), Univision aired “La Que No Podia Amar.” Univision ranked as the #2 broadcast network among Adults 18-49 and ranked #1 among Adults 18-34, out delivering CBS and NBC in both demographics. Univision has ranked as the #2 network among Adults 18-49 for seven of the last nine weeks and as #1 network among Adults 18-34 for twelve of the last thirteen weeks.

 

  • · On Monday night Univision held the #2 position among Adults 18-34, out-delivering ABC (+22%), CBS (+99%), and FOX (+8%). Univision also ranked as the #4 network among Adults 18-49, out delivering CBS among both Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34. Univision’s entire primetime lineup also ranked among the top 10 programs in both demographics

 

  • · Univision maintained its #2 position among Adults 18-34 and #4 rank among Adults 18-49 on Tuesday night. Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranking among the top 10 programs in both Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 as the network out delivered CBS in both demographics for the second consecutive night.

 

  • · Univision held the #4 position on Wednesday night among Adults 18-49 and ranked #2 among Adults 18-34, beating NBC in the respective demographics. Its entire primetime lineup, including “Una Familia Con Suerte,” “Abismo de Pasion” and “La Que No Podia Amar,” ranked among the top 10 programs for the night in both demographics.

 

  • · On Thursday night Univision ranked as the #1 network among Adults 18-34 and maintained its the #4 position among Adults 18-49. Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 15 programs for the night and also out delivered NBC in both demographics.

 

  • · For the third consecutive week, Univision was the #1 network on Friday night among both Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

 

ü Univision’s entire primetime line-up including “Una Familia Con Suerte,” “Abismo de Pasion,” and “La Que No Podia Amar” ranked among the top five programs Friday night among both Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.

ü In the current season Univision has been the #1 Network on Friday nights 87% of the time (28 out of 32 weeks) among Adults 18-34 more than any other broadcast network.

 

  • · On Saturday night, opposite FOX NASCAR, Univision ranked #3 among Adults 18-34. “Sabado Gigante” (Giant Saturday) attracted 2.0 Million Total Viewers 2+ (+9%), 781,000 Adults 18-49 (+19%), and 378,000 Adults 18-34 (+13%) viewers to rank among the top 10 programs for the night in the respective demographics.

 

  • · On Sunday night Univision ranked #3 among Adults 18-34, beating NBC (+37%), and CBS (+15%).

 

ü At 7PM, Univision’s “Rosa de Guadalupe” attracted 1.5 Million Total Viewers 2+ (+2%), 634,000 Adults 18-49 (+11%), and 369,000 Adults 18-34 (+28%).

ü Following “Rosa de Guadalupe,” Univision aired the ninth episode of the “Nuestra Belleza Latina” (“Our Latin Beauty”). “Nuestra Belleza Latina” continues to outpace its prior season performance to date among Total Viewers 2+ (3.6 Million, +6%), Adults 18-49 (1.7 Million, +4%), and Adults 18-34 (901,000, +1%).
