Note: Due to the presidential address, the source data was a little wonky for our regular format so the address itself on CNN and MSNBC is not included in the table below. On CNN the address coverage ran with a duration of 11 minutes and averaged 727,000 viewers and 190,000 viewers adults 25-54. On MSNBC the address coverage was 18 minutes and averaged 930,000 viewers and 165,00 adults 25-54.

” Tony Baloney…….How is 2.6 million “going down” when everyone else
never gets even near a million? O’reilly is on top of the mountain. ”
Going down means your audience is shrinking.
Last week’s Monday: O’Reilly Factor 2.91 million viewers
Last week’s Tuesday: O’Reilly Factor 2.92 million viewers
This week’s Monday: O’Reilly Factor 2.68 million viewers
This week’s Tuesday: O’Reilly Factor 2.47 million viewers
@Tony: >>> O’Reilly is going down and The Five is going up. <<<
O'Reilly going down? You must have been smokin' weed all week. The Factor is the ONLY show above with over two million viewers. He's been in the low 3's during the height of the primary season. I stil predict that Bill will have four millionpeople watching him by 2013.
@Matt: NO. Calling Maddow a mister was NOT a mistake. Everyday, several dozen people have bad things to say about the news & commentary hosts on Fox News. Where’s your indignation in those cases?
@joan: >>> @Ralph
I think they should try to hire Beck he is missed! <<<
You're right. I brought this up yesterday. But, I think that CNN would put some restrictions on Beck that would BRING viewers & sponsors to the 6pm hour, not drive them away.
I know that Glenn has complete control over his Internet show, but most people have stopped talking about him since he left Fox.
Blind Chinese Dissident Speaks Exclusively To Channel 4 News
He left the embassy for hospital on Wednesday morning, although he told Channel 4 News this was part of an agreement with the Chinese government rather than because of a medical emergency.
“Nobody from the (US) Embassy is here. I don’t understand why. They promised to be here,” he added.
When asked if he was at hospital because of his health, Chen replied: “No. I came because of an agreement. I was worried about the safety of my family. A gang of them have taken over our house, sitting in our room and eating at our table, waving thick sticks around.

Do you know what “going down” means? It means you’re losing viewers. Compared to last week’s Tuesday, his viewership is down 15%.
All the shows go down somewhat during special sports events and popular network shows nearing the season conclusion ( like this time of year) 8 O’Clock is a popular time!
The fact…..O’Reily is # 1 Hannity # 2. And all FOX shows make up ythe top 10. Quite a terrific record by any standards! I’m a happy conservative gal myself
@ Ralph
Ditto
O’Reilly is still nr.1 but if the average number for the week is 2.5 million viewers…..damn. That’s almost 1M viewers less than a few months ago. Last week he got 2.8M viewers. Glenn Beck lost over 1M viewers so they cancelled his show. O’Reilly should be worried.
If Hannity aired 8PM, I bet he would get more viewers than O’Reilly.
@Jack
“suikostinger ,how do you know what he mean’s ? Oh that’s right your Mr know- it- all.suikostinger which one are you and which one is Nancy ‘dumb or dumber?’”
It’s called reading comprehension and not being an idiot.
@Ralph Hahn
Everyday, several dozen people have bad things to say about the news & commentary hosts on Fox News.
Couple dozen people? There’s only 4-5 people in here that even dislike Fox News and out of those 4-5 people only about 2 have said bad things about the Fox News hosts…..What are YOU smoking?
This place has been taken over by the FAR right calling names to the center and left winged people in here including the hosts on MSNBC. I mean, just look at Jack and what he said….

Rachel Maddow is going up. The Five is going up. Hannity is going up. Bill O’Reilly is going down.
What has happened to CNN? They used to be able to pull in over a million viewers, every program. Anderson Cooper used to have almost 2 million viewers: http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/2011/03/17/cable-news-ratings-for-wednesday-march-16-2011/86120/

Matthews: Romney A ‘Useful Tool’ That Is ‘Not All That Interested In The World’
On Wednesday, MSNBC’s host of Hardball, Chris Matthews, delved into why he believes the prospect of Mitt Romney as president is something to “fear,” because he believes the former Massachusetts governor is not all that interested in politics or the issues that motivate political commentators. Matthews says that he doubts that if Romney were not running for President that he would be consuming political debate by “watching this network at night.” Furthermore, Matthews says that Romney is a “useful tool” for Republican opinion leaders like Americans for Tax Reform President Grover Norquist or Weekly Standard editor Bill Kristol.

You gotta love it, Chris Mathews called someone a tool. Chris, the second biggest tool on MSNBC next to Ed.
Tony, can tell your a lib. You turn one week’s change in viewership into a trend. We’ll see what Bill O does in the next few weeks and if he goes up I expect you to shout it from the mountain tops.

AC had almost 2 million viewers on 3/16/2011 by covering the T?hoku Earthquake and Tsunami.
I’m back, but please don’t stand up
Bill O and all prime time will be down because of the NBA Playoffs

*Saudi Arabia warns Iran over Gulf islands, Bahrain
RIYADH (Reuters) – Saudi Arabia repeated on Wednesday that it would not tolerate threats to the Gulf Arab states’ sovereignty, the latest warning to Iran after President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s visit to an island claimed by both Tehran and the United Arab Emirates.
The warning, the third in as many weeks by a member of the six-nation Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), comes amid increased nervousness in the region over Iran
