Still not a fan of Phil. His Zombies track on Wednesday was rough, and his duet with Joshua wasn’t that strong either.

That said, he’s my pick to win. He seems to be the most “in line” with the last few champions. Hollie will likely fall next.

  • Lane

I keep thinking Hollie will go next for the last 4 weeks.

  • Dr. Jerome Polonio

I like Jessica’s second song of You’re so beautiful. Indeed, America, she’s not only beautiful, she sang so beautifully and she will be putting America on top in the music world. I like her and my prayer is for her to be the next American Idol for this season 11.

  • Melanie

I wonder where they come up with all this “60 million votes” stuff and every week they always say it is a “record high”. I haven’t watched Idol at all this season but did in seasons past and every week it was always “a record number of voters” calling in. Hmmmm.

  • RJ

    Global superstar? Haha, that’s funny.

  • Colin

    Finally Skyler is out.

This is indeed the best Top 4 ever! What an incredible talent. Go home The voice!

  • Bernie

Phillip Phillips can’t sing and he proved it. He was off key, couldn’t hit the high notes and was horrible. He’s a Dave Mathews wannabe but with no talent. I couldn’t believe he wasn’t eliminated last night or even in the bottom 2. It’s a popularity contest now instead of a singing talent competition. He “sings” the way he does to hide a very bad voice.

  • psychic

    Hollie needs to WIN.

  • Robert

I don’t think Phillip is going to win, which is fine with me. I don’t find him nearly as talented as David Cook or Daultry. I think the final two will be Josh and Jessica.

  • Jay

Best final 4 ever? I think this is one of the worste.

  • Jeff R

First season in a long time that the top two and winner weren’t pretty obvious. It’s really anybody’s game right now (with slight disadvantage to Holly). Great top 5!

  • flo

I can’t believe Holly is still on. Skyler was so much better, even though I don’t like Country. Who is David Cook? I thought Adam Lambert was so much better. At least people know who the best was of those two.. Everyone has already forgotten who Cook is….Heard him on AI and can honestly say cannot sing….

  • Nick

They couldn’t have another country star win it. Hollie hands-down deseves to win. She’s the most likeable and relatable contestant, and shes by far the only one that could ever go mainstream pop. Her voice is tremendous and her performances on Wednesday night were magnificent. I’m sorry, but the other three finalists are so overrated and full of themselves. In fact, because of the judges’ constant pumping of their egos, they’re three of the most overrated contestants in the show’s history. I don’t understand the appeal of Joshua at all, and in my opinion, he is the MOST overrated contestant in the show’s history. The judges – even Iovine – have nothing critical to say about him when he clearly makes mistakes in each performance. He can hardly sing and hides his voice with this snarl/growl, whatever he does. So annoying. Phillip is still here because the show is a popularity contestant – his performances last night would have sent any normal contest packing. Jessica should have gone when she had the chance a few weeks ago. She’s boring and has no mainstream appeal.

  • Victor

The Best are Joshua and Jessica, sorry Nick

  • Jeff R

I agree with you, Nick. Joshua is the most overrated contestant ever. They are shoving him down our throats, too. A standing ovation from the judges after nearly EVERY performance? Really? And have you noticed he’s closed the show multiple times and when he doesn’t he’s near the end.

  • Nick

Yes, he has closed the show more than twice already. I love how they put Hollie first – they really try to rig this show in whatever way they possible can, without actually tampering with the votes. And it’s so obvious. Standing ovations are not necessary, especially for Joshua’s performances. Screaming the notes does not always equate to energy. It’s one thing I miss about Simon Cowell – he gave out very very few standing ovations over his 8 years as judge, and everyone he gave was always deserved.

  • Fischer

Jessica has te best chance of being an international star. She’s got the looks, sounds, everything. She has a huge following in forign countries as well. She could make a great R&B/Pop record that could sell well.. Joshua: He’s old school R&B which idk, not a fun of. Hollie: yea she’s pop, but isn’t current. She sings mostly ballads. P2: umm this guy just can’t sing.
