SEASON-TO-DATE "CBS SUNDAY MORNING" IS UP +3% IN HOUSEHOLDS COMPARED TO LAST YEAR
CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH CHARLES OSGOOD was the #1 Sunday morning news program in households, viewers and adults 25-54, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for April 29. CBS SUNDAY MORNING posted a 3.5/10 with 4.87m viewers and 1.3/07 in adults 25-54. Season-to-date, CBS SUNDAY MORNING is up +3% in households (3.7/10 from 3.6/10) and even in both viewers (5.29m) and adults 25-54 (1.4/07) compared to last year.
In Sunday’s broadcast, CBS News Business and Economics Correspondent Rebecca Jarvis explored the causes and consequences of the spiraling costs of higher education, Correspondent Mo Rocca visited the offices of The New Yorker magazine to learn the stories behind some of those famous covers, and Correspondent Tracy Smith spoke with photographer Lawrence Schiller about his newly revealed — and revealing — photographs of Marilyn Monroe. In addition, John Blackstone chatted with writer/director Joss Whedon about his upcoming film, “The Avengers,” and Anthony Mason caught up with The Beach Boys, recently reunited for a 50th anniversary tour.
