    You have to keep in mind as well that SCANDAL doesn’t get nearly the promotion that REVENGE does. I mean, come on…how many EW covers and articles does REVENGE need? How many times do I have to turn on Leno, Letterman, Ellen, etc…and see an actor from REVENGE? All that buzz, promotion and hype and the show has fallen and fails to live up to the “this is a hit” attitude.

    SCANDAL, on the other hand, is only promoted during ABC commercials and it is still able to keep steady. That’s a winner.

    Perhaps Scandal would do better if they had cast a lead who didn’t have such a sour expression ALL THE TIME. Her face is like a dropped pancake.

    @Mike

    Well if they move TBBT in 8:30 next season must go with POI&H5O thats is the best possible match for the network! If TBBT is around 5.5 and 15 million viewers than POI will be 3,5-4s 15-20million and H5O will be 3s and 10-12million! If they can go with this numbers will be golden mine for tham cause PoI and H5O are one hour!

  • Ralph Hahn

    How can NBC even consider renewing “30 Rock,” if only to soothe the egos of Lorne Michaels and Alec Baldwin. Although, I think that Baldwin may still be in the Peacock Network Doghouse right now.

  • Andrew

    The CW can’t be happy that they shed 0.7 DEMO POINTS after The Vampire Diaries. that is more than HALF!
    I don’t see them being happy with the Secret Circle at all.
    if it brings in a 0.5 for the finale as well, I would just go ahead & can it.

    “Just because Deadline says something doesn’t mean its gonna happen.”

    Deadline is 99.9% accurate when it comes to these types of news.

    @Pete

    Well, it does because Nikki (the one who runs the site), is pretty close to executives and sources, which give her valuable info. Every year, hes predictions are accurate. So, TSC is gonna get canceled either way. Go bind your circle and cast a renewal spell. :D

  • Tim

    @Max Are you kidding? Scandal gets more promotion than any other show including Revenge which rates better without as successful a lead in. I can’t turn my tv on ABC without seeing constant promo’s for Scandal. It makes me wonder why they are pushing it this much, maybe they’re trying to give it a last shot before they cancel it but at this point with all the promos it has it’s not going to gain anymore viewers.

  • Jason50

    You would think TSC would get better ratings than Nikita did last year following the Vampire Diaries due to it being a more similar show. I thought more viewers would carry over from TVD but thats not the case.

  • Overdamoon

    So, The Mentalist went up or down?

    @Max, drop it! It’s the other way around. REVENGE outperforms SCANDAL even with a weaker lead-in. SCANDAL does NOT have an edge over any ABC dramas except for maybe GCB.

    @Petar

    I don’t think CBS will move TBBT to 8.30. It fine at 8, and can provide a lead in for a new show. If they do in fact move it, then it will probably move to 9pm but that depends on if they want a 2 hour comedy block on Thursday.

    @rob60990

    Do you know how Devious maids and 666 park avenue were tested?

  • Pete

    @GGWillDie

    We’ll see…

  • Sid

    @MoHassine

    Devious Maids is already staffing.

    I read that it was between Gotham & 666 Park with Gotham being strong( :D ) and 666 being weak…

  • Peter Mazz

    I hope that TSC stays on a .6 for the finale! And if they renew it for a second season i hope that it gets a stable .7 – .8

    Pilot Buzz-Variety

    On the drama side, NBC is said to be sky-high on Jason Katims’ hospital drama “County,” starring Jason Ritter; and “Chicago Fire,” the latest from the Dick Wolf shop. Next in the pecking order is the Jekyll & Hyde-esque “Do No Harm” and mystery-thriller “Midnight Sun.” The 1840s-set Western “The Frontier” has been well-received but there are said to be concerns about whether the net can effectively launch such a show given that it will have a slew of new programming to support in the fall.

    The Alphabet’s hot drama pilot prospects include Marc Cherry’s “Devious Maids,” supernatural mystery “666 Park Ave.,” family soap “Americana,” set in the world of fashion; and Navy submarine crew actioner “The Last Resort.” ABC execs are said to have eyed “Resort” as an event series with a limited episode order a la “The River.” But that may not fly with producer Sony Pictures TV as the studio would need 13 episodes minimum to maximize the show’s international revenue. Other contenders are “Penoza,” about a housewife who takes over a crime ring after her husband is whacked; and “Nashville,” a multi-generational soap set in the country music capital.

    On CBS, the bar for new dramas is high at the Eye, given the depth of its bench. Sherlock Holmes-inspired “Elementary” is this year’s heat-seeker, along with Vegas period piece “Ralph Lamb.” Berlanti seems poised to have a drama and a comedy picked up at the Eye with the buzz good for his cop character drama “Golden Boy.”

    On FOX, drama-wise, there’s been a strong response to the femme Mafia doctor vehicle from writers Josh Berman and Rob Wright. Kevin Williamson’s serial killer thriller “Mastermind” is fortified by the power of Kevin Bacon and is expected to land a midseason order (Bacon only committed to 15 episodes).In the tussle of Fox’s dueling femme secret agent projects (“The Asset” and untitled Karyn Usher), the untitled Karyn Usher is believed to have the upper hand in part because execs are wild about its ingénue star Saxon Sharbino. Berlanti’s legal-themed “Guilty,” starring Cuba Gooding Jr. as a disbarred lawyer out to clear his name, is still in the mix.

  • Petar

    @MoHasanie
    Devious maids is sure thing!

    But can you imagine PoI with TBBT lead-in? Why not try it in the last week for experiment?

  • DougF

    @John A

    No, us Community fans just realize that that is the same exact rating it was getting during the last few episodes of last season and that is what has been getting pretty much all season (1.3-1.7)

  • Lane

    As long as Scandal stays around where it’s at it’s good for renewal.

  • ron

    Damed wehat happened with the .6 this morning e.e it had more viewers than last week damed

    Im still hoping for anotehr season on TSC please

  • Sid

    @SmG

    That’s weird. I could’ve swore that I read that Gotham tested better than 666 and that Gotham had a better chance that 666. This new report doesn’t even mention Gotham :(
