Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live baseball game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

Nope, Scandal is not more impressive than Revenge.

2.1 for Revenge is the lowest in 19 episodes (hit 3 times) and so far this is the first time Scandal hit 2.1 (if it doesn’t get adjusted down).

Honestly, I can understand how you feel. But let us not be the CW fans that are rooting for other bubble shows to fail, just so their own can survive (The battle between HoD, Nikita, Ringer, Gossip Girl fans). ABC has managed to get a 2.0 and above from Monday to Thursday. This is good for all the shows involved! And Scandal is rock solid, and I hope it will be renewed too. I would like to check it out if it does get renewed.

  • Taylor

How is Scandal more impressive than Revenge? It’s total viewers are lower and it’s coming off of a much stronger lead in than Revenge. Revenge aired out of Apt. 23 which had a 2.3 and 5.5 million viewers going into Revenge, Greys had a 3.2 and 9 million.

  • s

why do people think Secret Circle will be adjusted down? :S

  • rob60990

I’m sure even comedy reruns or Betty White Off their Rockers can do better than Awake is currently doing.

  • Lexie

Not impressive for Scandal. It will be adjusted down because of the GA runover in the first few minutes. With all the hype this show gets on twitter I’m surprised it doesn’t get decent ratings.

Missing is a much better quality show. The problem is the time. Why put a drama like this on at 8pm? Give this show a chance at 9 or 10 and watch the ratings soar!

  • salim

i think its a given that towards the end of the season the rating ususally go down, watch come september, they’ll reach highs

  • RandyL

Yay Touch is not dead!!! Missing and Awake on the other hand….
It would be so funny if Vampire Diaries went up and Missing went down.
It would also be nice if Scandal didn’t ajust down for once.

  • Bunny

The un-aired ep of Happy Endings called “KickBall 2: The Kickening” will be shown in the UK on May 17 e4..

That’s kinda weird that it’s not in the US yet..didn’t Fox do the same with Dollhouse before it was cancelled?

  • Stacie

1000% loving Person of Interest and Scandal !!! I hope Scandal gets picked up for a second season . : )

  • MoHasanie

Why would they be more pleased? Scandal has the best lead in compared to all ABC 10pm shows and, yet is performing lower than Castle, PP, and Revenge, and is only 2 tenths above GCB. This week it may have tied PP and Revenge, but it is very very likely it will be adjusted down.

  • Justin121

I think CW should move Vamp D. to 9pm because it will increase its ratings and nothing is gonna work behind it.

So much for it being the most competitive slot.

  • Petar

    @Ron who just said:
Most things were up despite predictions the Avengers, NBA, NHL would cause drops

Well last week last NFL draft, so may be thats explain why most shows are up!

  • One @ senor chang

Touch might’ve just grasped victory from the jaws of defeat. Rules/Rob is going to be a photo finish, and I’d say whatever that decision is, next week will probably affect it (as CBS has until Wednesday at the latest to formalize all the deaths on their schedule). Scandal keeps chugging along, and I’d concur w/ anyone who says “better than 50/50 on renewal” for it. Community will come down to how many sacrifices of money and blood NBC gets from Sony. For things as far gone as Missing and Awake, or such sure things as Big Bang and Office, their fates have been locked in for nearly as long as they’ve been on the air.

  • senor chang

If Scandal is a touch below what PP and Revenge are doing, it’s a HELL of a lot more stable. I’ll give it credit for that. That’s a promising sign for how it might do in the fall or as a midseason replacement.

And looks like Missing finally sank to CW levels. It was bound to happen at some point.

Thank goodness TSC is back up! Praying the CW renews this show for a 2nd season.
