Nielsen TV Ratings: ©2012 The Nielsen Company. All Rights Reserved.

NOTE: All ratings are "live plus same day" from Nielsen Media Research unless otherwise indicated.

Definitions:

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.  More information on ratings is available here.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

    Please start watching nikita!!!! Its very hocking! Hope the ratings go up for nikita! CW can’t cancel the best show on
    tv! Please CW renew Nikita!

  • Rob123

    I think Nikita is on the wrong channel!!!

  • Jeremy

    Nikita is holding on alright. It might get renewed if it doesn’t drop to 0.3. Supernatural is steady as always! The Cw should be happy that their shows numbers held against the Avengers.

  • Chelsea

    I don’t get the hate towards Fringe, if you don’t like it don’t watch. I like both Fringe and Supernatural, I hate that their on Friday nights I never have time to watch them then.

  • S.

    @tony

    Fringe fans say so. Doing worse than Finder says they are delusional.

  • Chelsea

    *they’re*

  • Lindsay Fang

    SPN has the most loyal fan base!
    Ben did a good job, but I expected more from him.
    So leviathans cannot see ghosts but they can kill angels…?
    And angels bleed black goo/blood…?

  • Fringe Fan

    @John A

    Isn’t it? Because I was expecting a 0.3 for Nikita this week and yet (so far) its held steady. Would be nice to have seen an uptick because of the promo but this weekend especially, I’d say that any genre shows not taking a hit are doing very well indeed!

  • Kellz

    No boubt Nikita is a certain cancellation

  • Kellz

    No doubt Nikita is a certain cancellation

  • AlcoholicsAnonymous

    @OMG

    CSI NY and Miami will end up how Without A Trace did = Canceled.

  • Fringe Fan

    @S.

    You’re nearly correct, but you’re missing the point a little.

    Fringe fans know that Fringe is a quality show BECAUSE they watch it. Therefore they are the ones that are actually going to have the more credible opinion about how good it is. People who aren’t Fringe fans and don’t watch the show are simply making assumptions based upon the ratings or the fact the random odd episodes they have caught five minutes of made no sense to them. Not surprising, given how continuity heavy it is.

    The point being that it’s only the people who watch every week (the fans) that can really judge its quality. Anyone else doesn’t really know what they are talking about.

  • SarahL

    Nice job, Grimm. It was pretty steady given everything going on.

  • cece

    @Lindsay Fange angels have black blood because of the leviatan’s hand in their chest rewatch the episode…

  • Justin121

    “I wish CBS did not cancel Ghost Whisperer. 4 years of being the highest rated show on Friday, getting over 2.0s, one year of slightly lower ratings and it didn’t even get a proper ending (though it did not exactly end off with a cliffhanger).”

    Netflix!

  • Phil

    TVLine and Deadline say Nikita’s a toss up, while TSC and Ringer are likely cancelations. Well deserved though. Nikita stays strong on Fridays against the Advengers and no lead-in.

  • AC75

    Really shocked that SPN pulled in 0.7. Watch now, it gets adjusted down come Monday. Hope not. Enjoyed the episode regardless.

  • KS

    @Lindsay Fange

    Where is that mentioned that Leviathans can’t see ghosts?

  • Val

    No dramatic drops for any shows like many people were expecting! That’s great that the movie didn’t really effect the ratings.

  • Pete

    I cant believe some deluded people think Nikita will be renewed over TSC after yet another 0.4 LOL
