    @Fischer:

    No, SNL indeed got rid of her. Happy Endings came much later.

  • Justin

    SNL Couldn’t be moved to an earlier time without censorship removing “crass” sketches. I’ve always thought they would be pretty cool as repeats during the Summer in Primetime.

    @Jim
    Except that SNL is the answer to Late Night Programming , during the weekend.

    So you really can not start the show any earlier then 11:pm anyway. Its the show you watch when your up to 2:00am anyway and at home goofing around.

    Kristen Wiig was great as the “tanning lady” on Weekend News. SNL needs her for one more season

    what???? she wants to leave ?

  • Oliver

    I wouldn’t be surprised if NBC brings back Weekend Update Thursday. It did very well last election cycle.

    Worst episode of the entire season! wow.. just horrible.

    @Joseph i mentioned how impossible my “dream” was, i already knew the logic u tried to feed me

    I thought Eli was a charming host. He’s a football player, but very, very likeable.

    Maybe running “SNL” live from 9:30-11 P.M. ET or 10-11 P.M. ET on Saturdays might not be a far-fetched idea, especially if first-run programming would lead into it.

    NBC used to run edited repeats of SNL during the week,mostly mid-week,as far back as the mid ’80s. Almost always during spring/summer.
