Definitions:
DVR (Time-shifted) Adults 18-49 Ratings – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs.
Live+Same Day(Live+SD) ratings include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing.
Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.
DVR Ratings Increase Past Airdate - How many people watched the show on their DVRs within 7 days following the airdate
Until the 2009-2010 season, we used a show's LIVE program rating or viewership as the base upon which the LIVE+7 day DVR viewing was added. Now, the press seems to be standardizing around using LIVE+SAME DAY DVR viewing as the base for the calculations, so that's what we do now as well.

Now I’m sure The Firm is certain to be renewed DVR Percentage Increases are obviously the most reliable indicators of whether a show will be be cancelled or not
If DVR really does impact a renewal for The CW, THE SECRET CIRCLE is a weak candidate.
NIKITA has been getting those numbers all Season Long. I hope it can scrape 13 episodes.
It’s not making things easier for CW
(yeah usually thos numbers don’t coun’t but with so many shows that perform so similar it might have some impact…).
I haven’t checked this chart very often, but it seems like PP was heavily recorded the first week it was moved to Tuesdays.
GRIMM is solid as usual.
Look another 0.4 +7 Day 18-49(13th straight) for Supernatural.
Its not good to see TSC tie Ringer in regular and dvr ratings
good for OUAT that means the viewers didnt abandoned the show i hope next year return to mid 3
Grimm continues to do well with the DVR viewers. If only we could get these people to watch live. I can’t help saying this every time these numbers are released.
Ringer season 2 here we come
@Sid-
% increase does not mean a whole lot if you start from .4 demo. To get the L+7d numbers hat SPN has on the same day, Nikita’s % increase would have to be 175%. As it is it only gets to .7 and 75% which is SPN L+SD demo number. it just is not getting enough Nielson viewers.
I swear Supernatural would do better on a different night and with a little promotion, but it’s doing the job on Friday so that counts for something I guess.. *shakeshead*
Good numbers for Grimm and Fringe as well.
Grey’s is a monster with these DVR numbers! 4.8 and Season 8 is almost over!
Greys IS a monster! I mean they go from a 3.3 to a 4.8??? That’s unbelievable!! Same with REVENGE! I mean revenge goes from a 2.3 to a 3.4 and 7.7M to 10.4M!! I mean that’s incredible!
Wow New Girl gets 4.1 like when the show started back in September!
Wow New Girl gets 4.1 like when the show started back in September!
Nope, it doesn’t. Back in September when it had a 4.x Live+SD rating it was getting 6.x Live+7 ratings.
Scott, I hope you are being sarcastic, lol.
3.4 for Revenge! Thats awesome! Too bad there numbers dont count
So that week, Ringer outperformed Nikita, Hart of Dixie and The Secret Circle. Interesting….
Go Ringer, please renew for short final season, & go Revenge, Smash, Awake, Bones, Modern Family, New Girl, Raising Hope, Grimm, Castle, OUAT, & Finder
