NBC has picked up Ryan Murphy comedy The New Normal and the J.J. Abrams/Eric Kripke drama Revolution.
Update: NBC has also picked up White House comedy 1600 Penn starring Bill Pullman to series for 13 episodes and comedy Animal Practice.
Earlier today NBC picked up comedy Save Me.
Interested in seeing how Revolution turns out. Not interested in The New Normal, but they would’ve been crazy to turn down a Ryan Murphy show in the state they’re in.

Revolution will be a good show but the ratings will probably suck. Look at Awake, Prime Suspect…etc.
NBC seems to be ordering the same stuff that’s put them in the position their in now. More low-rated single-cams and complicated dramas that won’t last more than a season on the air. Would NBC wake up already?

Great news for Nene Leakes (Real Housewives of Atlanta) who has a recurring role/main role (not sure) on The New Normal! I know her fans must be happy, like me and Robert!! Go Nene!
Revolution seems like a high concept fail.
I was hoping Revolution got picked up but I think it will be the next flash forward, the event, and terra nova.
