Dem Congresswoman: Food Stamps Help Small Business
Rep. Karen Bass (D-CA): “When you’re talking about cutting meals on wheels, when you’re talking about cutting food stamps which actually is money that goes directly to small businesses markets in communities versus giving tax subsidies to farming corporations, these are the kind of cuts that the Republicans are talking about.”

Didn’t nancy pelosi say unemployment checks are the most effective type of stimulas,,remember the only thing holding back the economy is the lack of demand and raising the taxes on the rich,,of course..
Congrats to Brett!! A plus for all viewers!
Bret Baier Re-Signs Multi-Year Deal With Fox News
Fox News’ Bret Baier has re-signed a multi-year deal to remain with the network, continuing as the anchor of Special Report in addition to acting as lead anchor of Fox News’ political news coverage through the 2016 election.
Fox News chairman and CEO Roger Ailes described Baier’s approach to journalism as “tough but fair,” adding that “I’m proud to have him at the helm of this year’s election coverage and for years to come.”
Adds Baier: “I am humbled by Roger’s trust and confidence and look forward to carrying out his vision for FNC – a commitment to breaking news, asking tough questions, and doing it in a fair and balanced way.”
Baier has anchored Special Report — the number one political news program on cable — since 2009, when he took over the helm from Brit Hume, who currently serves as the network’s senior political analyst.
In the months to come, Baier will report live from both the Democratic National Convention and the Republican National Convention in addition to leading the network’s election night coverage
The last time they checked Erin Burnett still has a pulse..but what’s happening to Rachel?

I do beleive you are correct. I am beginning to thing that the congressional beauty parlour is setting the rollers in their hair too tight! Or maybe they need to clean the air ducts to the offices, or maybe……………………….they are just LOONEY TUNES!!!!
And by the way Coffee Steve, I wasnt totaly nakie. I had socks on because you left coffee grounds all over the floor!
Rachel Maddow was off Monday night; Chris Hayes took her place and at the end announced that Rachel will be on tonight (Tuesday). I don’t understand why the cume at 9:00 pm Eastern would decline when Chris Hayes is on. He does a great job.
@Ratboy

In the key demo:
O’Donnell: 259k
Greta: 267k
Greta’s going down!
Rat boy
Did Hannity ever sign a contract do you know? There was a big story about O’Reilly and Hannity having big offers as the number 1 and 2 then the story about O’Reilly I didn’t see anything about Hannity!
Att., Rod D….Greta will still be high after you’re “down” ( 6 feet under.)
@Joan
Hannity hasn’t signed yet but he should at any day now
Again, Fox’s early morning show (Fox and Friends) beats all the MSNBC primetime shows in total audience and demo. What makes it really sad for MSNBC is that it was a down day for Fox and Friends.
I think I have figured out why Fox lets Beckel do his thing and apparently is not firing Jehmu, they are the best ads anywhere for the Republicans.
Finally, even more off topic, is it just me or is Red Eye getting stale? I know Gutfeld is the backbone of the show and does not have the time to put into it anymore but also Shulz ( Bill–not ED) has become totally unfunny and just spouts the same old stuff over and over. Just my opinion but used to really like the show and now fast forward thru most of it.
why do they still track cable news ratings when its just FNC and then everyone else
