I think DH will have about around a 3.2, 3.3 next week with about 10.5M viewers… It will be over 10 million, i hope and definitely over a 3.0+

GCB is a long-shot for renweal… People say its just like DH but its not dramatic AT ALL. It might as well be a sitcom, to be honest. There is no drama whatsoever.

If ABC brings back its TGIF Block next year, they might move the family-oriented Once Upon A Time to Fridays at 10:00. But right now it seems pretty steady and steady for where it is.

AFV beat 60Mins. hahahaha thts pretty funny and embarassing for CBS. I hate how CBS is like “we have the #1 new drama & #1 comedy ” when NO U DONT CBS! ONCE had a 4.0 in its premiere and POI only had like a 3.2! also, 2.5Men’s first 2 epps this season were highly rated, but they have escaladed all the way down to SERIES LOWS so Modern Fam is the #1 Comedy!!

Pilot wise, I think they might put 666 Park Ave. and Mistresses at DH’s spot cause it is very much like DH. 666 Park Ave. could go at 10;00, if picked up and Americana will go on at Thurday at 8:00

While disappointed more people are not watching DH’s final season, at least its doing better than House.

  • LOL

Seriously guys, don’t think for one moment that PTC and Christian groups getting into the action with these shows cause viewers to drop, they only increase peoples demand to watch the shows. If the ratings start dropping like a stone, viewers left the show, period. As far as NYC 22, CBS would have been thrilled if it caught on, but I am sure they realized this show was nothing more than a filler from day one.

Second to last DH ep ever–heavily promoted–great lead-in–tied in the demo with a run-of-the-mill Family Guy ep.

If this wasn’t the final season, imagine how low the ratings would have been. Imagine how low they’d have been next season.

ABC pulled the plug a bit late, but they pulled it.

“they might move the family-oriented Once Upon A Time to Fridays at 10:00.”

You’ll have a better chance at seeing Elvis alive than this happening.

  • Bob

Yeah for Harry’s Law for going up….lol. Come on NBC renew this great show with horrible demo. You are so awful as a network that anything with eyeballs should help your cause.

    @Dillan
I think it was more of ABC’s terrible scheduling and constant repeats as lead in’s that hurt the show’s ratings.

Constant repeats? GCB followed a new Desperate Housewives for seven of the nine weeks it was on.

  • Bee

i was hoping OUAT could rise to a 3.5 by the finale, but looks like it’ll probably get a 3.2 if it’s lucky. annoying.

  • Networkman

That is sad. What is wrong with NYC22 that it can’t even improve having The Amazing Race as a lead in? I believe they have a cast that is aimed primarily for the young demo.

  • Holly

    @Ultima,

Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with facts.

  • Brian

Good ratings as usual for OUAT! I hope GCB gets renewed, but will find that out next Tuesday.

  • KennyA

If ABC is trying to have scripted shows on Friday, Last Man Standing will be there!

    But to the ratings:
I hope the finale next week will have a 3.0+!
And isn’t it amazing that Amazing Race is the second highest show on Sunday in it’s 20th Season? I hope it will have a lot more seasons!

I guess it’s still too early in the day to start doing that… ;)

  • SarahL

Harry’s Law went up a tick. What a sad case.

  • tv_viewer

The preliminary ratings for Desperate Housewives was 2.9 for the first half hour and 2.6 for the second half hour. Because Once Upon A Time didn’t end until 9:01 pm, DH lost one minute from the higher rated first half hour and added one extra minute for the lower rated second half hour. I’m not surprised that DH was adjusted down to a 2.7 in the final ratings.

I’m fairly confident that Desperate Housewives should average more than 10 million viewers for the series finale next week but I don’t think it will get anywhere near 3.5 in the demo.

  • JR35

DH stil lwas up from the lst episode. Ratgher than ABC pulling the plug, it’s probably more of a Marc Cherry/ABC thing. Cherry said some time back that he wanted to end the show at seven seasons- but, ABC probably convinced him to giver it a final eighth season.

GCB is iffy for renewal, but I’d like to see it.

  • TimsDale4ever

I hope GCB comes back in the fall. A really interesting show and very different from anything else on TV right now, combined with an incredilby interesting and BEAUTIFUL cast. It’s like a “funny” Dallas.

  • MattM

Does NBC bring back Harry’s Law to please the old folks or do they do what’s right for business?

  • Justin121

    Desperate Housewives The Final Season

    Nine 9 Million Viewers

Would be higher if it weren’t for The Good Wife’s similar-skew
