“beat your head-in so hard that you will never come back….”
Not cool. But nothing different than the things Joan says, yet the usuals that post in here doesn’t seem to care she says…sooooooo……….
@b No threats @ Ratboy!!! Not nice!!
I am sure many right wingers secretly support equality for all, even on marriage. Especially when in bathroom stalls and on the Internet late at night as many Neo-con GOP congressman and so-called evangelial leaders get busted doing. I am suspicious of any person that is so hell-bent on gay people being evil.
Karl Rove & Lindsay Graham for example are closet Queens and take their personal hate out on open honest folks.
Ask Ken Melman fmr. RNC leader?
Suiko, 100% correct!!
Joan is not too bright. I’m sure she is a nice lady and a good citizen. But her comments about liberals are (for lack of a nice word) Fox News-ish, eeeeuuuu!
Just to lighten up this thread.
This is for you, Rats.

Official claims Fisker Karma to blame in Texas house fire
AutoWeek
“Last week, a fire badly damaged the home of a new Fisker Karma owner, and authorities are saying that the electric car was the source of the blaze. According to Fort Bend County, Texas, chief fire investigator Robert Baker, the Fisker Karma started the fire that spread to the house.
On the afternoon of May 2, 2012, Mr. Jeremy Gutierrez’s brand new Fisker Karma hybrid electric vehicle(battery not being recharged) caught fire while parked in his garage, setting fire to his home while his wife, mother, and child were inside. Thanks to the fast action of Mr. Gutierrez, he was able to evacuate his family from the home moments before portions of the house were engulfed in flames, including his child’s bedroom.
Fisker Automotive, sent their self-proclaimed “SWAT Team” of engineers and inspectors (that included their own forensic cause and origin investigator) to the Gutierrez home within 24 hours of the fire. They descended upon the Gutierrez home in alarming numbers and immediately demanded a 24-hour lock-down of his home, including the remains of the Fisker Karma vehicle. They also cordoned off portions of the Gutierrez home with non-transparent tarps to block the view from the public
Despite the fact public safety and law enforcement officials have determined Mr. Gutierrez’s home and vehicles are not a crime scene, Fisker Automotive released a public statement on May 8, 2012 implying fraud or malicious intent were open questions.”
This is the same model that Consumer Reports’ $100K+ Fisker Karma died on arrival .
Can’t we all just get along?
Not that it has been said. Who will Liz Cheney vote for? Will it be Mitt or President BO? Let’s see where her heart is.
I’ve been asking for a while how much longer Erin Burnett has before CNN cans her. After today’s headline, I feel somewhat vindicated that this is a relevant question.
If Erin Burnett’s ratings were so low that they “scratched”, then how is it that Nielsen reports them anyhow?
Marvin
As I said before I think that CNN will let Erin Burnett Outfront run at least a year and I think that C Steve said that CNN wouldn’t make any personel changes until after the elections. I think that sounds reasonable.
I think that they will try reformating the show for next fall so we will have the “New Erin Burnett Outfront”.
Why is the govt. involved in marriage any way? I thought people wanted the govt. out of their bedroom?
Pres. Obama doesn’t care what people want, he wants the gay community vote. Endorsing gay marrage doesn’t mean anything since States haven’t signed on.
Erin Burnett’s Out Front isn’t even treading water
But………..
CNN anchor Erin Burnett now has a regular column for Fortune, the financial magazine that–like CNN–is owned by Time Warner. Maybe , she’ll do well at Fortune allowing CNN to find a better anchor.

Fox’s Shep Smith: Republicans On ‘Wrong Side Of History’ On Gay Marriage

Rick and C Steve:
I’m sure you’re right that CNN would want to give Erin till after the elections. If ratings get any lower, though, they might have to consider acting sooner.
Any idea how long her contract is for, and hoe much it would cost CNN to buy her out early? (I’d guess she has a 5 year, $1 million or so per year, deal.
Are Erin Burnett’s articles in Fortune any better than her show?
@rick.
President Obama demonstrated what a good honest man that speaks up for what he believes in looks like. If you want a fake phony flip flopping panderer look to Romney. The gay vote is not a big voting block so your rhetoric is not valid.
Marvin
I am not sure what the duration of Erin Burnett’s contract is but I remember seeing somewhere that her contract with CNN was for $2 million and Anderson Cooper’s was for $4 million.
I am not sure whether that was correct or not, it was just posted on a web page.
Mitt saved the auto industry by suggesting that we “should let it go bankrupt”?
Mitt wanted the LGBT community to believe they had no “better friend” than him until he decided that the teapartyers would make better friends when it comes to locking up his party’s nomination.
Mitt was all for raising student loan interest rates when he called the Ryan plan “marvelous” before he all of a sudden backtracked and decided it would be better for him to campaign for the youth vote instead.
Poor Mitt, he must be suffering from either split-personality disorder or whiplash from changing his positions when they are most politically expedient.
Don’t be fooled by the Mitt. He wouldn’t know what a true political conviction was if it came up and bit him on the @ss!
@Rick
Are Erin Burnett’s articles in Fortune any better than her show?
NO !
Here’s her first article that CNN printed from Fortune.
The problem with the Arab world’s love affair with English

Didn’t obama say in 2007 he believed marriage should be between a man and woman? Thats not a flip flop?
d.d.
NO !
Here’s her first article that CNN printed from Fortune.
The problem with the Arab world’s love affair with English
Sounds like a must read, if you have insomia
@Leon Hawker
Might want to read what Obama said about gay marriage recently. He said his views has evolved on same sex marriage. Even in 2008, he’s ALWAYS said he’s believed in Civil Unions (to the best of my knowledge) and now supports same sex marriage as to when he was against it in 2008. That’s not flip flopping IMO. He believed in civil unions which I think is the first step and now he, in the most recent interview, (today) has said his views on it has evolved. Of course it could be a flip flop, or him just opening up his mind, I do not know.
But you can’t say he’s supporting it to get votes…..IMO most people don’t believe in same sex marriage I don’t care that the polls say 50% of the people believe in it. I do know a lot of Christians that think there should be same sex marriage, but I would think that most of them are against it. Then that’s not counting the non religious people that just straight up doesn’t like the idea of it.
