    Another Obama lie and his buddies at PolitaFact burned him on this one (but of course he doesnt get a pants on fire rating :lol: )

    “The only time government employment has gone down during a recession has been under me.”

    Our ruling

    Obama is wrong when he suggests that “the only time government employment has gone down during a recession has been under me.” It’s not true if you just look at the recessionary period itself, and it’s not true if you look at a combination of the recession and the recovery — in both cases, it happened during the 1980-1982 recession. And while government employment did eventually go up following the Reagan-era recession, the rise began more than a year after private-sector employment picked up, which negates Obama’s argument that his predecessors were able to compensate for weak private-sector job creation with accelerated government hiring. We rate Obama’s claim False.

    Hey Jeff …. B.O a good honest man ?????? he flip flopped more than anyone on this issue ……. why is it when he flip flops he is a good honest man yet when Mit does he is a Flip flopper ……. obviously you have tunnel vision

  • Jeff

    @hockey

    Believing that the WORD marriage is between man and woman then promoting that equality for all means equality for all…. Is not a flip flop. President Obama never said he was against gay marriage.

    Saying you are against it then for it then strongly against it again is a big flip flop. = Gov. Romney

    Have we beat this into the ground enough yet?? We are probably not going to find common ground on this matter. All I can say is I an very proud of President Obama for making history yet again.
