Sigh. “The Following” is lame – in title, not in content.

  • Ultima

Didn’t see it mentioned, but Deadline is reporting that with the possible exception of Guilty, FOX is done picking up pilots. Rebounding and El Jefe are being shopped to other networks.

they surely won’t tax you’re “intelligence”

There are few sure things in life. One of them is that a comment on someone else’s intelligence will only make the commenter look like the dumb one.

abc should announce it today or tommarrow.

    @gregg and LLL

when is ABC going to announce their schedule. Im more interested in that.

We might hear about early renewals, cancellations, and pick-ups this week (they were announced on the Friday before the upfronts last year), but we’ll find out the actual schedule on Tuesday, May 15.

Mob Doctor? A doctor working in a Mafia run hospital?

With an uninspiring slew of new shows no wonder the networks are losing viewers and cable is gaining them.

    Fall 2012 Fox Schedule Prediction:

    Monday:
    Bones
    Mob Doctor

    Tuesday:
    Raising Hope
    Ben and Kate
    New Girl
    It’s Messy

*Goodwin Games held in reserve as fill-in if any fail or for mid-season.

    Wednesday:
    X Factor
(I hear those saying they may shorten to one hour, but not after sinking $15 million into Britney plus another judge to come)

    Thursday:
    X Factor
    Glee

    Friday:
    Touch
    Fringe

    Saturday:
    Sports/Cops

    Sunday:
    Animation Domination

Reasoning: This allows all of Fox marketing to focus on pushing a Tuesday night comedy block plus only one other new show. The other big push will be for “new” X Factor.

    Spring 2013 Prediction:

    Monday:
    Bones
    Mob Doctor/Guilty

    Tuesday:
    See above

    Wednesday:
    American Idol

    Thursday:
    American Idol
Glee with a mid-winter finale to allow for airing The Following uninterrupted through May(only 15 episodes).

    Friday:
    Gordon Ramsay
    Touch

    Saturday/Sunday: See above

Reasoning: Spring to me has the potential to be much more complex than Fall. Good luck to the scheduling and marketing groups come Spring.

I’m on board with both The Following (terrible title) & Mob Doctor. I doubt I’ll continue watching Touch but will check out the new Fox comedies & see which ones click. I wish they’d pare back on animation domination since the only show I watch is The Simpsons.

dont like the name The Following… Mastermind was THEE perfect name! It’s Messy sounds weird but The Goodwin Games sound s cool… The Mob DOctor also sound good, so does Guilty and Ben & Kate

I was hoping they would pick up Let it Go. Drat. Oh well, hope some of the new projects will be well written and awesome.
