Fox has renewed Touch for a second season - no word on number of episodes ordered yet. Not a surprise, both Bill and I thought renewal was more likely than cancellation.
Alcatraz is dead (no surprise) and now Fox has canceled The Finder too (also no surprise).
Additionally Fox picked up 3 new comedies and two new dramas.

I’m not “reaching”, I’m just “suggesting” that it might be a good fit for Netflix.
Like I said, if they were thinking about Terra Nova (which is way more expensive), why not look at Alcatraz?
No shockers to me, but the real toss up is still undecided – Bob’s Burgers.
Can Fox even wait until the Working Class Hero pilot comes in to decide? At this point Fox only has four animateds for five (well, we assume five) slots in Spring. With the lead time on BB, I would think Fox needs to decide in the next month or so.
Touch won’t make it to season 3.
Maybe ABC is taking so long because of contract negotiations with Modern Family and Grey’s Anatomy..

I rather watch static on TV than “The Finder.”
Not much novelty on the premise of that show, and somehow the acting felt short, way short.
Hopefully Fox will find us some innovative good shows for next season.
Let’s just hope we (the audience) don’t have to endure the pain of having to watch the bad and the ugly to get to the good shows.

Tom: I’m fuzzy on whether there will be 9 or 13 episodes of Bob’s Burgers leftover for next year from the season two renewal, but I’m pretty sure it’s at least 9.
good to hear about the touch renewal, shame about alcatraz but it was really just a formality, there was next to no chane it was going to get renewed. I reckon touch only got renewed cos of the sorry state of FOX dramas right now, there is little chance it makes it past the second season.

Alcatraz has pretty good cult internet following, I could definitely see Netflix considering it. I think it would be smart for them to go after Community to if it too is canceled which I’m predicting.

i’m guessing there’s some terra nova fans who are rather pissed off about the touch renewal since terra nova was pulling better ratings than touch it currently yet it still got cancelled, I expect it was because terra nova was so expensive to produce.
I really hoped Alcatraz would come back. I thought it had potential. I’m not surprised, though. I guess I’ll keep watching Touch. It’s sometimes boring but in the end I’m always glad I watched. I’m tired of raspy voices, though. Danny Glover’s gone, but with Keifer and the woman who plays Gugu’s boss there are still two raspy/husky voices, lol.
Bob’s Burgers will get renewed. FOX needs something at 7:30.
My wife and I both like Touch. Never watched Alcatraz.
Touch is different than a lot of other shows on the air (getting sick of so many reality shows, predictable sitcoms and cop dramas).
Touch won’t live past S2.

Thats because ABC is still screening possible pilots. They always take forever.
I wonder how many Alcatraz/Finder fans are hating on Fringe now? I can see it seeming unfair to those who don’t visit sites like this.

touch is most pointless show ever on tv! Ok cancel alkatraz but at least cancel and touch! Now only cause was after idol will survive few more ep. And please not pair it with fringe in friday! Pleeeeeeeeeseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaseeeeeeeeeeee
Too bad. Alzatraz was an awesome show. Fox making a big mistake on this one!
I dunno, I guess im among the minority disappointed that alcatraz was cancelled I actually really did like that show, alot better than touch
