The End

@Kate
Pretty sure Ringer hit a 0.2 with one of its repeats before.
A repeat of Hart of Dixie got a 0.1 .
@ SarahL “TheCW is the anti-King Midas. Everything it touches turns to mud. @Ultima This is the first full development cycle since Comcast bought NBC Universal. I’m not sure how you expect them to turn the network around without even giving them a chance.
Exactly. I fully expect Comcast to turn NBC around over the next 3 to 5 years.”
Actually if the NBC executives do not turn it around by this time next year, they will all be fired; they are close to being fired right now. Comcast is a business, and like all business they are in it to make money. During an Analyst call the Comcast executives apologized for the current condition of NBC and promised they would do whatever is necessary to fix it quickly. They got into specifics about poor decisions: about how much money (a huge amount of money) was spent on Smash and the poor results. The stockholders are not happy, and like any business if the stockholders are not happy if things do not drastically improve in a year, the executives get fired.
on a lighter note:

Britney Spears Officially Joins Judges’ Table
Written By Amanda Kondolojy
“May 9th, 2012 E! News is reporting that after months of negotiations, the Britney Spears has finally signed her contract to join Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid as a judge on The X Factor. She will earn $15 Million for one season’s worth of work.”
It is on.
The Voice vs. The X Factor
Britney Spears vs. Christina Aguilera
NBC vs. Fox
And how will this effect American Idol and Americas Got Talent?
What are everyone’s picks and opinions?
@Jenny
Uh? That was my point about Comcast stated concisely.
Great number for the New Girl finale. I think it tied Family Guy finally.
Funny how Glee and New Girl help each other out. I bet Glee is down next week without the NG bump!
@ SarahL
Yes , I was just trying to point out that the current the executives have only a year to do it or be fired, in responce to: @Ultima “This is the first full development cycle since Comcast bought NBC Universal. I’m not sure how you expect them to turn the network around without even giving them a chance.”
Beep Beep,Beep Beep, BEEP BEEP
New Girl is LOL funny
@Jenny
Actually if the NBC executives do not turn it around by this time next year, they will all be fired
Do you have a source for that? NBC is a long term turnaround project for Comcast and they expect it to take three to five years. Sure, Smash wasn’t a smash hit, but you’re going to have bumps in the road. Overall though, Comcast is doing well – it’s up 29% since the start of the broadcast season, mainly because their primary reason for buying NBC Universal was the cable networks, not NBC itself.
@Jenny
NOT here idiot. You have all new page go there and comment with the kids!
To the point! This year is best NBC year from a lot time i guess! They are 9% UP! But no SB next year. They must try to be at least 1-2% up nexy season and may pass ABC even. The biggest disappointment was smash. So much money and promos and waste the voice lead-in! And now will be dead if go without the voice if stay with the voice will be even worse! This eas only bad decision from new NBC boss.
@ Petar
You don’t understand how buisnesses work, and I am not about to explain it too you.
Listen to the Comcast Analsts calls.

You don’t understand how buisnesses work, and I am not about to explain it too you.
In other words, you don’t have an actual response.
I think this all may depend on what we mean by “turning things around.”
If NBC isn’t in second place in the demo next year, I seriously doubt everyone will be fired.
However, there does need to be some positive movement. If by the end of next year NBC has at least 2-3 solid new shows and isn’t in a position where they have to air abysmally rated shows to fill time, I think that is sufficient to get them another year.
If Comcast thought that cleaning house at NBC was the quick fix, then a whole lot of people would have followed Zucker out the door.
“Actually if the NBC executives do not turn it around by this time next year, they will all be fired; they are close to being fired right now.“
Nonsense highlighted for emphasis.
As others have noted, the folks Comcast put into NBC were too late to have any input into choosing this season’s shows, at most they had some scheduling flexibility during the season.
I can see firing the Comcast installed folks after *next* season’s results, because they will have control of everything that went into it, but the idea that the new folks are close to being fired now is complete nonsense, unless the Comcast overlords are insane, and their other behavior doesn’t indicate that.
OMG PP. i will do voodoo magic to curse NBC and the voice if it gets cancelled. and cry. cry a lot. but it’ll be the biggest bulls— ever if it does get axed. after a whole season of good ratings, the show has even proven itself in the new timeslot with the good numbers from the past 2 weeks. the voice finale did it in this week so ABC better not cancel it.
this week is like the opposite of last week or the week before where everything went down and PP was like the only bright spot/positive news. a drop would be fine, but 1.4!? DAMN IT. and how is PP the single show affected by the voice!? ugh. i’ll take a 10 episode mid-season saturday order at this point. and yes, ABC should start fearing for revenge’s finale now. it’ll be getting like a 1.3-1.5 for the first half hour thanks to idol’s 7 min overrun.
@SarahL
If Comcast thought that cleaning house at NBC was the quick fix, then a whole lot of people would have followed Zucker out the door.
You clearly didn’t just get a C in your freshman Business 101 course, so you have no idea what you’re talking about. I would explain it to you, but then people would know that I have no idea what I’m talking about.
good for the voice i think if they will change the time of this show it will do better
also brintey vs. xtina is a funny thing
NG was pretty good, as was CT. Didn’t watch Glee yet but caught LMS.
