"CBS SUNDAY MORNING" IS UP +8% IN ADULTS 25-54 COMPARED TO THE SAME DAY LAST YEAR
CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH CHARLES OSGOOD was the #1 Sunday morning news program in households, viewers and adults 25-54, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for May 6. CBS SUNDAY MORNING posted a 3.5/10 with 4.94m viewers and 1.4/07 in adults 25-54. CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up +8% in adults 25-54 (from 1.3/07), and even in households compared to the same day last year. Season-to-date, CBS SUNDAY MORNING is up +3% in households (3.7/10 from 3.6/10), and even in both viewers (5.28m) and adults 25-54 (1.4/07) compared to last year.
In Sunday’s broadcast, correspondent Martha Teichner interviewed a Texas doctor who may have found a remarkable noninvasive alternative to back surgery, Serena Altschul spoke with several authorities on the latest in denim wear and Seth Doane chatted with Rita Wilson about her solo singing debut. In addition, correspondent Lee Cowan visited Nebraska’s 16th Annual Betty Convention — a gathering of women for whom the only requirement for membership is a shared first name — and Rita Braver profiled Thestar Simon Baker.
