Update: Also no surprise: in addition to Once Upon A Time, ABC has renewed Castle, Revenge, Grey's Anatomy, Modern Family, The Middle, and Suburgatory too.
The fates of other shows haven't been determined yet though we'll be a little surprised if Happy Endings, Private Practice, and Apt 23 aren't renewed (and more than a little surprised if Body Of Proof is). Based on previous years, I'd guess most, if not all of the ABC renewals and cancellations will be out of the way by the end of the day Friday.

Oh please tell me they are just holding off on announceing Happy Endings getting renewed. I really need it in my life. If it gets renewed then all my shows are safe.

Where’s Happy Endings, Private Practice and Last Man Standing? Also possibly GCB, Scandal and Apartment 23.
Interesting that most of the Once Upon a Time cast and crew had no idea prior that the show was renewed, people breaking the news to them on twitter, happy times and celebrations indeed.

Once Upon a Time, Revenge and The Middle!!! Some of my favorite ABC shows have been renewed
Happy Endings will still be renewed, all the shows mentioned on this press release were just on the “definitely renewed” list. THey are no brainers lke how A Gifted Man was canceled.
The real news is when we find out the fate on Unforgettable CSI NY and Miami.
My guess is all of these are full seasons. The rest of the renewals will be 13-18 episodes.
So sad Desperate Housewives is ending… I was used to it seening it on the renewal list.

Indeed, Once Upon a Time will definatly be 22 episodes. Speaking of that, most of the cast appear to be on twitter now. Word obviously has filtered around that they’re coming back.
