CW picked up five new dramas to series, a record for the CW. Arrow, Carrie Diaries. Cult, First Cut and Beauty And The Beast have all been ordered to series.

excited for all the shows, esp. arrow and first cut. if they’re good, they’ll survive since i’m sure they’ll premiere decently. CW just needs to better promos and promotion methods.
TSC and ringer were not good. hart of dixie is decent and gets bonus points for charm.
Bold move. CW is replacing 50% of it’s programming hours with new shows? I guess their viewership is SO low that they had no recourse?
It seems like this channel is hemorrhaging money. At this rate, is it possible it will throw in the towel and fold entirely in another year or two?

I never thought I’d be so happy by CW decisions but Arrow, Cult and Beauty & The Beast as new. Vampire Diaries, Nikita and Supernatural renewed. I am really, really happy!
Well I just hope the CW see good sense and renew TSC over HOD
Dixie and Secret Cirlce will be renewed. GG to have final 13 episodes season. That’s my guess.

So The Selection not getting picked up is good news for us TSC fans, right? I’m crossing my fingers that we get a renewal

It depends if The CW want to air all the new shows in the fall, or air some of them beginning in 2013.

When the ratings are as low as they are for many shows, I think the bold move is renewing some of the shows. lol
I’m pleasantly surprised that Nikita got a 3rd season. Now waiting to hear on Harry’s Laws fate
I believe in a Hart of Dixie renewal. As for The Secret Circle and Ringer: gone.
Well if ringer and TSC are cancelled looks like I won’t be watching the CW anymore, here’s hoping the network is cancelled as a whole
Arrow and Cult both sound great. Carrie Diaries and the Beauty and the Beast sound incredibly dumb. I’m on the fence about First Cut.

That leaves one slot left. If GG gets renewed for a shortened final season (which it shouldn’t, considering its terrible ratings), then one of the remaining shows could take over midseason — TSC, HoD or Ringer. My money is on HoD. If it doesn’t, I could see HoD getting a full-season pickup and getting paired with First Cut. I just don’t see a way that TSC and Ringer get renewed.
Of course, this is contingent on all of these new shows getting full season pickups — something that I don’t think we know yet.
