According to Kathy Bates twitter feed, Harry's Law has been canceled:

My husband and I watch Harry’s Law every week. We will miss this very
intertaining program. We will miss the characters of Harry’s Law.
Thank you for entertaining us. You will be missed.

  • Cindy

This is a smart, intertaining show with heart. I learn something and am moved by every episode. I can’t believe it’s being cancelled.

I know!! I guess they all think the only thing anyone wants to watch is Bachelor this and Bachelor that!!And if there wasn’t enough JUNK on TV now there’s Duet’s!! We needed ANOTHER JUNK SHOW!!! That s%&( is JUNK and I am personally SICK of even hearing the commercials!!Who are these MORONS up there making these decisions!!?? WHO do they talk to and base their decisions on!!?? They have cancelled EVERY SHOW I like except one and that probably won’t take long….I CANNOT BELIEVE they cancelled Harry’s Law!! Let me tell you Kathy Bates it’s NOT because of YOU!!!!!

Harry’s Law was the. Est show on TV. The writing, the acting, it was all just fantastic. I loved the fact that the plots were so topical.

In sports, the team is as successful as the players make them. When loyalt y between the teams and the players was removed from the equation (through a variety of moves by ownership, management, and unions), a lot of us lost interest in professional sports. That’s why baseball is no longer the national past time. I fear that television is following the same path of destruction. If networks continue to ignore the wishes/desires of a class of viewers, they risk losing that class of people forever. I for one, would have difficulty, given choices, of watching and falling in love with NBC television when my loyalty no longer means anything. Why should I be loyal to them when they show no loyalty to me?

PLEASE DONT CANCEL THIS SHOW! BEST DRAMA EVER! IF CANCELLED, PLEASE CABLE PICK THIS ONE UP…YOU WONT BE SORRY.

  • Meredith

Noooooo….we love the show! Cancelled? Impossible!!! How does a good show get the axe when there are so many stupid ones on TV??? ….and there are too many to list! Hope another network picks it up!!!!!!!

  • littlebit

I usually hate the lawyer shows they repeatedly shove down our throats but Harry’s Law had an actual lawyer-next-door feeling. Somebody should lose their job for this stupidity!

  • Connie

TV has become a wasteland and is no longer aimed at people with brains or an education. I guess that’s the goal when you cancel smart, well-written shows like Harry’s Law. With a show of this quality being cancelled, I’m back to watching tv only for news and sports – nothing else is aimed towards me. I hope another network has enough courage to pick up this show.

  • MiMi

This was the best program on NBC! Goodbye NBC!

  • Doug

One of the best shows in a long time, no aliens, monsters or constant violence, some great court scenes, not all shows should be geared to the
younger generation, lots of seniors enjoyed this show need more like them.

  • Greg

NBC missed the mark. Thiis is a good show!!!

  • randy

Another example of morons cancelling quality television…

  • E A K

How come no one ever calls me to see if I like a show or not? Will miss this one. Hope they don’t replace it with another talent type of crud.

  • Becky

    Frustrating…I loved the show!

  • O’Brien

One of the best stars as a lead on a well acted funny show with some great messages and you cancel Harry’s Law. Who is the moron running NBC?

  • Barb U

Leave it to the networks to get it wrong again! I LOVE Harry’s Law. However, I get it; I’m of the “older generation” and the stupid people in the commercial/ad industry just don’t get it about we “older” people. They think we don’t buy anything. We are on tight budgets and are selective in what we do buy, but if the commercials weren’t so condescending, we might just purchase more. I am disappointed in the industry. To get rid of such a special show is a sin.

I cannot believe this fantastic show is being canceled. It is one of the best. The acting is superb & the writing is off the charts. Both sides of an argument are expressed/exposed giving pause to rethinking any prior perceptions. I have to give my full attention to every show as every line is well crafted & delivered. Finally a show without boring car chases, steamy naked sex scenes & dialog a watcher could write in advance. Please, please, please allow another network to pick up one of the best David E. Kelley shows ever!!!

  • Penelope

NBC is either moronic or thinks we are. The only show on NBC with intelligent, clever dialogue will probably be replaced with another reality show.

  • Stacy

NBC IS ABSOLUTELY INSANE!!!! THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST SHOWS ON TV TODAY – DAVID KELLEY IS A GENIUS. HARRY NEEDS TO GO TO ANOTHER NETWORK WITH BETTER JUDGMENT AND MORE RESPECT FOR ITS VIEWERS!!!
