Update: NBC confirms that Harry's Law is cancelled. Let the "will Harry's Law be shopped to another network" talk begin!

According to Kathy Bates twitter feed, Harry's Law has been canceled:

Yea, Tweeters. Sad news today. Harry's Law will not be renewed for a 3rd season. We are all terribly sad. Many thanks for all your support.

Very disappointed with cancelling this show..it had a little of everything. Yet TV stations keep shows like, Parks and Rec, 30 Rock, that horrible show Rules of Engagment, Bachelor and ette…please…no more reality shows..pls

  • sagsac

This show is a hell of a lot better than 2/3’s of the ones that were renewed.
So go ahead and watch crap likre Whitney.

  • Diane Neff

I loved the show, and hate to hear it got cancelled.I hope they rethink that

  • Ellie Stock

Can’t believe NBC would cancel such a great show. We are so sad. Hope someone else picks it up.

  • sandy

Why would u cancell one of the best shows u have. It makes no sence.Harry’s Law ranks as one of the top shows as far as I’m concerned. Can’t handle any more of those stupid reality shows.

  • Lois Oliver

Harry’s law is one of 3 network shows that I look for. The rest are junk.
Hardly watch the 3 main networks at all.
Another more independant network needs to pick this one up.

  • Greg

For all you MORONS who think the show should be cancelled is proof that there is a moron born every minute. You all watch the shows that take low IQ’s to follow like The Bachlorette, The Bachelor, and Sister Wife’s. Give us all a break and keep your idiot comments to yourselves. Nobody with a brain gives a crap what you think.

  • Fenton Burroughs

Simply proof that NBC executives lack a firm grip of the obvious. The fact is that a loyal million fold audience of Harry’s law regularly found the show to be a well-done drama series based on current events. In each show was a lesson to be learned and a role model for all of us to emulate, talk about and perhaps make our lives richer in the process. Fortunately, there are other more talented television executives in other networks that will benefit as the Harry’s Law audience migrates to NBC’s competition.

Sad to see it go off the air My wife and I Enjoyed The show different cases , we don’twatch any of the reality shows can’t stand them

  • Brande

If NBC won’t renew “Harry’s Law”, they should put Kathy Bates on “Parenthood”.

  • Barbara

One more reason to leave network TV and follow Cable channels. This has been one of the most interesting shows on NBC. Just outrageous that the fans have no say anymore. Overall TV just sucks and now it is going to suck even more. All of this CHEAP Reality crap has ruined TV.

  • Joan

    My favorite show.

  • Don

So Sad, never missed an episode…was it because she made comments about our honorable commander in chief, a wanna be President….oops, can’t talk negative about the administration or you’ll get cancelled….at least ABC is starting to make comments….Fox has paved the way….good luck Kathy, you don’t need that network.

  • Andrea E.

Booo! What a shame. Guess it will be replaced with yet another reality show.

  • Dan

That’s too bad, it was an entertaining show. It’s probably good to go out before you have been on so long that all your shows stink because you used up the good plots years before, like How I Met Your Mother and House. These days you can’t survive if you’re not a forensic crime show or some kind of reality contest to find America’s best something or other. I’ll stick with sports.

  • Sue

News of Harry’s Law being cancelled is terribly dissapointing. Quality TV shows are rare between reality and comedy sitcoms, drama with great acting while having soul and humor are becoming more and more rare. You need to check what people want. This is a terrible loss!!

  • Mark

I think it is typical. When a series comes along that has humor, drama, and just a little fun the powers that be cancel it. Probably be replaced by some “reality” show that in actuality has no reality about it. Good going NBC, you just lost another viewer to CBS or some other channel.

  • Linda Arnett

I loved the 1st season and wished they had of stayed in the building in the bad area but I love the show totally, jerks to cancel it

  • Linda

Of course when they start to move a show around they are trying to give it the ax not much to watch on tv anymore I guess netflex is all thats left

  • Jean anne

One of the best on TV–far better than those fake talent shows
Guess the young set has hay for brains
