Update: Last Man Standing has been renewed.

And now Private Practice and Body of Proof (our only  big swing and miss of the season so far)  join Scandal in the renewal column. Private Practice for a sixth season, Body of Proof for a 13 episode third season and Scandal for a second.

Also renewed for a second season: Don't Trust the B---- in Apt. 23.

GCB was canceled.

For those who need ABC confirmation that 'Pan Am,' 'Missing' and 'The River' are canceled, you have it.

No word on Last Man Standing  yet.

ABC has also picked up several new shows.

Damn, I was really hopins “Missing” would get renewed, but I knew it wouldnt. ITs a shame too because last week over 6.68 million people tuned in last week and it could some how only muster a 1.1 rating. Good show, was a little messy but finding its groove. Hopefully all of the remaing episodes air.

NOT happy that GCB was canceled! Hardly gave it a chance and I thought it was much fun and had great potential!

I love Private Practice , and I am so happy it is coming back but I sure hope Addison tells Sam to take flying leap, she really should be with Jake. Sam is just a creep He just wants Addison because of Jake ,

Body of Proof was a great show with a great concept, and actors, it just needs new writers, and to do better research.
Needs some tweeking if you will. Love the show itself though. Nice not seeing another version of what everyone else has on.

I think “Missing” was really good, but I also think they painted them selves into a corner, with no where to go with it. It started out really good though. Again writers went dud.

Oh, dear! Body of Proof renewed? I guess history revisionista heads are EXPLODING now! Must be all that false hope!!

Thanks for renewing, ABC (and letting the writers resolve the cliffhanger which they, ahem, shouldn’t have done). Now, doesn’t it feel good and rewarding to make a sound decision for a change? Whatever got the show onto the bubble this season, let’s make whatever concessions we have to make to ensure it won’t be there next year. Add an actor who’s a Twitter sensation… get Justin Bieber to guest star… pay Snooki to Tweet an endorsement, whatever. The point is, this show is going to be a big deal for you in the off-net market if you make 100 of them — and stuff like “Revenge” isn’t. Know your priorities.

Oh, and not dumping an hour and a half of crap in front of it would probably help.

I am really glad for Body Of Proof. This is a very good show. Great cast of characters and backstory. This was the right call. The last few episodes really helped to save the day. Dana Delaney on Army Wives wasn’t making this look so good. Harry’s Law I enjoyed….Harry made a crack last week that she misses the days of being in the 18-49 demographic. Apparently, they do not count anyone over that age group to save shows. It is all about advertising dollars. Funny when all we do is fast forward through the commercials.
