Update: Last Man Standing has been renewed.
And now Private Practice and Body Of Proof (our only big swing and miss of the season so far) join Scandal in the renewal column. Private Practice for a sixth season, Body Of Proof for a 13 episode third season and Scandal for a second.
Also renewed for a second season: Don't Trust The B---- in Apt. 23.
GCB was canceled.
For those who need ABC confirmation that 'Pan Am,' 'Missing' and 'The River' are canceled, you have it.
No word on Last Man Standing yet.

Yess!! I’m sooo happy!! Yay for PP!! The question is: how many episodes?
And the people here say it’s only about 18-49. Turns out it’s not the only indicator for renewal. Glad that Body of Proof was renewed.
Well well, i’m one of the many who couldn’t be happier about the renewal of BoP. Perhaps this is a moment to reflect and realize that this renew/cancel index doesn’t always get it right. A lot of people were commenting here about the possibility of a renewal of this show but they were all told they were crazy to have hope. I hope this teaches a little lesson about humility. One of the webmasters wrote a few posts ago in response to a BoP fan “You got one thing right: somebody is gonna look fool in May”, well guess what? You guys ended up looking foolish in the end. Very happy for BoP. It is a great show!
Where is Last Man Standing?
What’s up with the LMS news?
did ABC pass completely on Devious Maids or can it come midseason? seems interesting they passed on the marc cherry pilot since he gave them a hit for 8 years with Desperate Housewives
Body of Proof does well overseas and its ABC’s lone procedural. Thats why it was renewed for a 13 episode third year. It also marks the first time an ABC drama has gotten a third season in a while.
What’s with the network’s decisions this year? NBC renewed everything but Harry’s Law. ABC renewed everything, but GCB, Missing, and The River. Have their standards dropped this year?
ABC ordered Mistresses for 13 episodes according to Spoilertv.
Is it just me or is there like 30 comedies being picked up for next year?
BoP is and ABC Studios production. If the show really does well overseas, the overseas licensing fees would offset a portion of the commercial fees loss in the states.
@Bernard, I understand your point, but no one could have seen this coming. It is a shock. Looking at the ratings and # of episodes, it shouldn’t have been renewed. I guess ABC has faith in it.
@ Dan
Castle?
@MoHasanie
Body of Proof’s next season will not be its last. Do you people make this stuff up? Seriously.
The BOP renewal is probably the best news I’ve gotten all week!
Things are looking worse and worse for LMS, though. Hoping for an early renewal on Monday or at least during Tuesday’s upfronts…
@MoHasanie, NBC canceled Awake, Bent, BFF, Chelsea, Harry’s Law, Playboy Club, etc.
ABC canceled River, Pan Am, Missing, GCB, Charlie’s Angels, etc
They canceled a lot of shows. Many came in the fall, and many more this spring. Just read a little more.
Oh, I forgot to add a
for Missing’s cancellation. It was a good show.
Ohhh I can’t believe they are not going to pick Americana, I’m so angry right now
YAY for Body of Proof. Hopefully ABC is willing to try it on Friday. Also, I’m glad GCB is cancelled because this will free up Kristin Chenoweth to be in a more quality project.
@Gaius Bolling
Well, DH was a hit for 6 and a half years. My standards for a hit are if they can get 3.5+. It still performed above the network average for the other 1.5 years, but sadly, never remained a hit.
@MoHasanie, this may have not been updated in the past hour, but check this out for the full list: http://www.eonline.com/news/watch_with_kristin/renewed_canceled_your_tv_cheat_sheet_on/315675?cmpid=sn-000000-twitterfeed-365-topstories&utm_source=eonline&utm_medium=twitterfeed&utm_campaign=twitterfeed_topstories&%3Fcmpid=eonline-twitter&dlvrit=48939
