And now Private Practice and Body Of Proof (our only big swing and miss of the season so far) join Scandal in the renewal column. Private Practice for a sixth season, Body Of Proof for a 13 episode third season and Scandal for a second.
Also renewed for a second season: Don't Trust The B---- in Apt. 23.
GCB was canceled.
For those who need ABC confirmation that 'Pan Am,' 'Missing' and 'The River' are canceled, you have it.
No word on Last Man Standing yet.
Seriously – I expected more crow eating from Bill and Robert since they both gave BOP no chance of coming back – I was hoping you would be wrong and you were and I remember the harsh words you had for BOP fans on this site — so suck it up and issue a mea culpa.

I’m glad for Private Practice and really, really glad for Body of Proof. I guess it’s the combination of the March/April uptick, good international sales/low domestic production costs and, let’s be realistic, a bad (horrible?) batch of pilots. Either way, I’m not complaining.
Anyway, Gossip Girl, Fringe, 30 Rock, Private Practice – that makes four shows that are definitely ending next season. One for each network, except CBS, which doesn’t usually announce final seasons.

Not sure, but do you two ever do an autopsy report? I’d love to hear your opinions on shows you predicted renewed or canceled, and got horribly wrong, either way, and what could *possibly* be behind the network decisions…

Yay Malibu Country was picked up by ABC! Good schedule next year it seems. Does that make LMS renewal chances higher or lower?
I read Body Of Proof was renewed by ABC, because the company that makes Body Of Proof is part of ABC & Disney, so they worked out some kind of special deal.
