What a comeback for BoP- It had that weird uptick, which wound up earning it another season,at the end of the year.

  • SteveO

Well hopefully they can market it well to get more viewers this fall. I read that it was only a 13-ep order.

  • Survivor Fan

Now, we are just waiting on LMS and CBS.

Last Man Standing is literally the last one left for renewal LOL. Deadline says negotiations are still being finalized

  • March

13 episodes for Body of Proof and yes for Apartment 23 :)

Did abc picked up 666 Avenue park for this fall does anybody know

  • psychic

Yay. Godawful Crap Balls is dead. :/

Well at least some good news on the bubble front for me today. :) Body of Proof is the surprise renewal of the season. Also very happy for Private Practice.

Cue the headline: “Did International Sales Save Body of Proof?”

  • Ultima

There’s going to be some crow eating over the Body of Proof renewal.

I’ll start – I didn’t think there was any chance it was coming back. Obviously, it wasn’t coming back instead of Private Practice (I was right there), but yeah, I said 0%, absolutely no chance.

    I was wrong.

I guess the lesson is to go with the rare procedural on a network full of serial dramas, regardless of ratings…

It seems like all the networks are renewing some of their worst shows. Fox with Fringe, NBC with Up All Night, CW with Nikita and now ABC with BOP. Whats next CBS picks up Unforgettable?

I think this is the most I’ve seen ABC renew in a really long time!

  • Survivor Fan

I was not hugely surprised. I had BoP on the bubble with a 45% chance of renewal.

  • Dan

@Robert – I look forward to watching Apartment 23 on ANC next season ;p

  • Jen

It’s official! PP and BOP will be renewed! (Updates from Shonda and ABC)

  • Dan

@Robert and Bill the Body of Proof renewal seems surprising to everyone. After having horrible seasons last year and the year before and the year before that, finally ABC has a good season. Yet BOP, a drama that was always said to likely b axed, got a renewal. Good thing it does well overseas.

  • forg

BOP also did itself favor when it got 2.0 for it’s last 2 weeks. It’s a procedural that ABC should nurture and still on brand

  • forg

Reba’s Malibu Country is picked up!

way to go abc……………you sealed the deal and wont be having me or my family as a viewer ever again since you cancelled “missing” and “gcb”……….
