You can see TV ratings from other recent Overnight ratings reports here.

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live baseball game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

TVD finale last night was AMAZING! Hopefully, it can adjust up!

    RIP Secret Circle.

  • MoHasanie

How did the TBBT fall for a finale?!? It was a funny episode. It’ll probably be adjusted up, so it could either tie or beat MF this week.

Grey’s and Scandal rose. Next week’s episode of Grey’s sees someone’s death, so it should get around 3.8. Although it could be higher, since some episode this year have gotten 4.0+.
Scandal rose, but it will probably be adjusted down as usual.

  • leonard

    Look at this! Grey’s lead-in was just 1.1. 3.4 it’s just a miracle.

  • Taylor

Max’s incessant and plain wrong rantings about how Scandal is outperforming Revenge is just sad now.

Revenge always beats Scandal in total viewers and the demo despite having a much weaker lead-in, and Scandal is doing better? Okay.

  • Jessie

Well I saw Tweets non-stop about how great and how intense the finale was for TSC so I expect it to be adjusted up.

  • Pete

Nikita will bomb int he ratings tomorrow with yet another 0.4

Do you really think the CW would renew it over TSC after that? deluded if you do.

  • Douglas from Brazil

What I think about NBC ratings is:older people don’t get it smart shows, that’s why CBS exists and American Idol too.

  • Seishin

Hoping that TSC’s ratings are adjusted up. With the ratings being flat, it pretty much leaves the current speculation ‘up in the air’ as well. It can really go either way.

If TSC’s not renewed, at least the finale tied up the (majority) of the loose ends from this season, while setting things up nicely for an S2.

  • Rachel

Wow, If TSC doesn’t adjust up I think it’s dead. Not that I’m complaining.

  • bluejays

Good for The Mentalist. It has held up well. Odd that TBBT fell so much and for its final. POI continues to underperform the other nine pm drama’s and so will likely be moved. Which sucks because then TM will go to Fridays.

Idol slides slowly, I really hope that next year Idol and the Voice continue to trend down. And X factor. Does a nation need 3 karaoke shows????

  • Charmed

    Hope TVD gets adjusted up!

  • Scriper

@max are you on drugs ??

    Revenge > Scandal

    Deal with it !!

    Grey’s > PoI

Things are the way they should be :D

  • AlcoholicsAnonymous

Disastrous finale ratings for The Office. This show had such great ratings before but not it is failing horribly. It’ll still be around for a while though.

Also holy hell at all the CW posts. Didn’t realize that many people care for that crap network.

  • Dillan

Not good for TVD and TSC considering it was the final for both.

Do i still think TSC will be renewed? yes, its overall season’s ratings have been good enough.

  • Ron

Max, sweetums, you need to let it go. Scandal will be back down to 1.9 in the finals as it always is. And if not, great you hit a 2.0 congrats. What does that have to do with Revenge which has already been renewed?
But congrats you’re now giving Intensity and Riffrafferty a run for their money for most annoying poster!

  • Martin

Totally agree, unless they do some sort of time share situation with several shows they will be cancelling 3, with Ringer and Nikita inevitable and after these ratings, TSC is looking more and more likely.

Also, Greys is totally going to be over a 4.0, although the days of them getting near a 6.0, except maybe series finale, are long over.

  • WB

But Hey, The Secret Circle is at least doing much better than some Gossip Girl!

Gossip Girl should def. be CANCELLED.

  • DW

good for missing. a show getting lousy and lousy and getting lousy ratings too. i’ll fast forward through the final next week just like i did last nights episode.

  • TimsDale4ever

Boy, Missing skews extremely old unless that 1.1 is a mistake.

  • Rebecca

“Dammit Jerry!” P&R is so good…I wish it got higher ratings. Office was okay, but Andy makes me cringe more than Michael Scott ever did. TBBT and RoE were good. I still need to watch 30R, Community and Touch online.
