You are probably right, but it is a shame!
They killed the sing off. It had good ratings but they ruined it. Didn’t minute to win it get good ratings during the summer.
Wow, this is sad.
I had happy that Fear Factor came back, but now I’m sad it’s gone.
The Sing Off was a good singing competition with an interesting twist. I guess the full season from September was the deciding factor.
I don’t watch WDYTYA, so…
I loved Minute to Win It but stored watching when it had the annoying theme song playing after EVERY round completion and cut to commercial IN THE MIDDLE OF A GAME.
So it was a bit of a surprise for me; I’ll miss them.

NBC should have kept FF and WDYTYA around because its new shows could bomb.

Fear Factor got cancelled less because of ratings, more because of the donkey semen thing. Seriously, that was taking it a bit too far.
Fear Factor was the only thing I watched on NBC ever. But at this point I don’t really care anymore. I’ll give a shot to Revolution in the fall, but that’s it from this network.
I enjoyed WDYTYA. But there is a better version of that show on PBS with Dr. Henry Louis Gates.
Surprised my many of those shows. I thought they were super cheap and didn’t tdo much worse than scripted shows. Go figure!

Maybe it was a bit out there. However, the one stunt does not warrant cancellation of the show.
Fear Factor could have been a perfect summer show (but not this year cause of Olympics)
Hope Who`s Still Standing? comes back very good show!!

Let’s hope Who’s Still Standing stays. Kinda shocked about Fear Factor and Who Do You Think You Are. No one cares about The Marriage Ref or The Sing-Off. Minute to Win It was good but if Who’s Still Standing stays then I won’t care.

I watch WDYTYA, but I agree that Finding Your Roots on PBS is far superior. Kind of like WDYTYA for Smart People.
Greenblatt did a bold move by canceling Fear Factor in favor of Brian Williams. FF rated well and Rock Center does not. I’m not sure how long Greenblatt plans to keep his job, but it might be short lived unless the schedule works some how. I mean how can you justify keeping Rock Center over Fear Factor? I personally don’t watch either show, but I think the ratings speak for themselves.
They’re not even holding on to Fear Factor for spackle purposes? Seems like a strange decision.
I could have sworn The Marriage Ref was cancelled last year.
