Do No Harm:
The New Normal:
Guys With Kids:
Chicago Fire gets points……for Hot guys WOO!!
Revolution looks totally embarrassing. I hope NBC didn’t spend too much money on it.
I can’t believe those shows beat roseann’s downward mobile.
This is NOT a strong line up.
“revolution is the only good one”
Revolution looks like a cross of Jericho and a cheesy episode of XENA, not thinking this will do well since it is meant to be serious.
Almost everything else looks really bad with 3 possible exceptions.
Chicago Fire – Beefy Eye Candy and good leadership.
The New Normal – This could be the functional gay couple that Desperate Housewives and Brothers and Sisters refused to produce.
Save Me – Very strange looking show , BUT , it could actually work given the cast and crew.
I didn’t have a problem with the clip. I wasn’t blown away by it but given Dick Wolf’s reputation for putting on great shows I wouldn’t bet against him.
I’ve never heard of Dick Wolf, what has he done?
My problem with the clip is simply a matter of taste. I don’t enjoy purely dramatic shows. They have to have action and/or humour in them as well. But as I said earlier, that’s just a one-minute clip that may very well not be representative of the whole show.
I honestly think Revolution’s premise would work better in a movie than in a TV series. I can’t see this being a long running show, it’s way too unrealistic.
Matter of taste again, I enjoy shows with fantasy and science fiction elements in them. Remember this show is from Kripke (creator of Supernatural) and Abrams (creator of Fringe and Lost.) I doubt it’s meant to be “realistic.”
Revolution looks good,
Ok, thanks for the warning. Failures the lot of them.
And what’s with those images of the destroyed cities? That’s clearly the graphics used by these guys: http://www.oddballanimation.com/concept-ruin
Revolution will fail HARD. But it looks good. I say it will mimic The River ratings.
@Lane it won’t.. The River had a bad permise and a very bad lead-in. It was also set as a short series and most people I know don’t bother to check 8 episodes shows. Revolution has a much better lead in and will get tons of promo this summer, so it’ll debut well, and from then it depends on whether the show is good or not.
I’ll definitely be watching Next Caller, Guys With Kids, Revolution, and Do No Harm. I’ll try a few others too though.
Revolution looks outstanding, like next LOST – freaking awesome!
With with Two Steps from Hell – Heart of Courage music in trailer is amazing.
How zap2it describes “Revolution”:
Take a little “Lost,” add in a touch of “The Hunger Games,” “Escape from New York” and “Battlestar Galactica,” and you’ll get the general vibe of “Revolution” — the result of a collaboration between Abrams and “Iron Man” director Jon Favreau.
@Mickey- You’ve never heard of Dick Wolf?? I mean really, he only produced a trilogy of long running shows called Law & Order, Law & Order SVU, and Law & Order Criminal Intent. SMH!!

I guess it is a matter of taste. Other than Star Wars I’ve never been much of a sci-fi fan. I can’t stand Fringe and I lost interest in Lost (pun intended) around the 3rd season or so. The only Abrams show that I really like is Person Of Interest.

We obviously watch two different TVs. I’ve only ever seen a couple of episodes of L&O, they’re not my thing.
What? Kevin and Scotty on Brothers & Sisters were the most functional gay couple on television ever.
Is it just me, or does Next Caller remind anyone of that failed CBS pilot from last year starring Damon Wayans Sr. and Eliza Dushku? I think the premise is about the same.
The only Abrams show that I really like is Person Of Interest.
Haha! Case in point, the only Abrams show that I haven’t liked is Person of Interest.
Safe to say, only one of us is going to like Chicago Fire. My money is on you.

Plus Revolution has two things the River did not: Abrams and Kripke.
My biggest problem with the River is I didn’t care about any of the characters. Kripke has created the two fictional characters I care about more than any others ever, Sam and Dean Winchester. And Abrams has created a whole army of fascinating characters.
On top of the fact they both have brilliant minds when it comes to storytelling. (Though I’m glad Kripke hates dragging a story out, because Abrams on Lost had a tendency to wait too long to give the audience answers and resolutions.)
The Law & Order Franchise is basically dead.. Only SVU is left and i give it 1-2 more seasons before it gone for good..
SVU ist that good, The original wast either nor LA… only some of Criminal Intent…
And the theme songs are extreamly dull and boring everytime i hear that stupid song i change the channel so does everyone i know.. but still Chicago Fire wont make it to season 2
‘Chicago Fire’ is going to be by-the-book procedure. Unlike ‘Rescue Me’, so ‘Chicago Fire’ does not arrouse my libido, unlike ‘Revolution’ which looks like a thriller!
Save Me and Animal Practice looks good…
Revvolution looks like a re did version of Terra Nova but I can’t wait for it! Most likely it’ll be canceled bc stupid people watch comedy.
Usually its hard for show to look bad with just trailers. But Revolution did that. Are you people joking? You think this is the next Lost? There is no next Lost and this looks terrible. Do you just think any Sci Fi or action is automatically great?
