Update: Rob has now been canceled too.

Not close to a surprise, but CBS has canceled freshman Unforgettable.  NYC 22 now officially dead too, along with other freshman A Gifted Man.

The daily ratings might not give you a full read on a show's popularity, but they still give a pretty full read on what shows will be canceled and renewed.

Sorry to see Unforgettable go…loved it! So tired of bizarre reality shows.

I’m not upset that Unforgettable was cancelled, only that they didn’t solve the mystery. Will someone tell me Who Killed Rachel Wells? We deserve to know!

To CBS: You use to be my favorite network! You say Rob is a hit show and then you cancel it?!?!?! Well here’s my response: GO TO HELL CBS!!! GO TO HELL!!!!!

TNT OR CBS MIGHT PICK UP UNFORGETTABLE. DEADLINE REPORTS THEY ARE EXRETMELY INTERESTED. IT’S ON WIKIPEDIA TOO!!!!

UNFORGETTABLE MIGHT BE COMING BACK!!! YAY YAY!!!

KEEP PRAYING. SO FAR SO GOOD!

Wouldn’t it be great if broadcasters would just make all shows 1 season long…. no longer – no shorter.

At least then we would all have the same expectations and thsee broadcasters can stop wasting our time by canceling great shows all the time. It’s to the point where I don’t even want to commit until I know their willing to make the effort too.

I am very disappointed that Unforgettable will no longer be on tv. It was a wonderful show..

I have to agree with SJ84. Unforgettable was the best of the new shows. I can’t believe they canceled it so quickly. I could see it if the show was a dud and they didn’t want to give it a chance; but, it was really good. I watch almost all of the CBS shows. My favorites are CSIS, CSIS:LA, The Good Wife, The Mentalist and, alas, Unforgettable. How can we write to the network to complain?

  • Tony – UK

Unforgettable is me of the more popular new US shows here in the UK. Got to say, it’s getting very frustrating watching US made TV shows, many of which are excellent and are much better than UK shows. It seems almost every show gets canned after one series. I assume viewing figures are the only game in town, and only US figures at that?

I’m fed up with it all, to be honest. Get a grip CBS, and if the shows are not good enough get some skin in the game to improve them. One way would be to encourage the shows to be more focused on getting it all done in series one. If they manage to make the savage cut that is the CBS executive’s penchant, then let the, come up with a new slant, but don’t let them drag out a first series with the assumption there is going to be a second, when there seldom seems to be.

Please bring back Unforgettable, o let TNT or someone else do it.

Another good show down the tubes. It is one of the best shows on TV along with Harry’s Law. What is wrong with these networks. I will not watch any replacement shows. The cast was great and I really enjoyed watching this show every week.
