CSI:NY a 1.2 and renewed, on CBS!! What were they thinking?
@RandyL
CSI:NY a 1.2 and renewed, on CBS!! What were they thinking?
That the show makes more money for them than CSI Miami?
Obviously.
Supernatural, not adjusted down, but I think the number of viewers are. Any ways, I can exhale.
1 week CSI NY got that 1.2. Other weeks its 1.6. People see 1 rating and think thats its norm.
Next season we are going to have a show even on CBS that is going to get numbers below 1.0.
Supernatural was adjusted down in viewers because of the Chicago preemption.
Grimm is still great
SPN total audience probably down a tad due to baseball pre emption in Chicago. Still demo stayed at 0.7 which is good. Firmly established as CWs 2nd highest rated show after TVD.
Nikita steady at least!
as Robert already stated, they dont know about the syndication money the shows make. Also Miami is in it 10th season, so conventional wisdom states that is must be more expensive than a 8th season. So quite possibly NY makes them either more money or costs less.
Next to that, 1.2 on a Friday or a 1.6 at sundays cannot be compared with eachother, friday shows always rate lower.
I firmly believe, the actual demo of Supernatural is 0.66/0.67. Isn’t 0.7 deceptive?
Hello CBS!!!! Why you renewed CSI: NY with a 1.2 rating if CSI: Miami has a 2.5 rating??????????????????????
@KS
No, They round to the nearest number
@KS SPN was preempted in Chicago, hence the total viewers going down.
@Jack,
Hello CBS!!!! Why you renewed CSI: NY with a 1.2 rating if CSI: Miami has a 2.5 rating?
Miami hit 2.6 precisely once this season. The rest of the time it got around a 2.0 and ended with a 1.7.
I’m not saying that NY’s 1.2 is good by any stretch, but don’t exaggerate Miami’s numbers.
I’m curious to see the 2012-2013 CBS schedule…
We find out in a few days, right?
Go Shark Tank!
…CSI: Miami ended with a 1.7.
Yes of course! But Miami aired 50 minutes later as so often in the season!
Wow ABC is dominating Fridays.
It’s going to be quite interesting to see how Nikita performs next season!
