I am definitely in the minority on this site. I really enjoy the Alex character, sometimes more than I enjoy Nikita to be honest. Of course my favorite character is Birkhoff so I doubt many people share my Nikita views.
@Tessa – “please tell me how this character gets to do all her action/spy/special ops stuff and check into a salon for hair and makeup at the same time?”
The same applies to Nikita (even more so since she is on screen more often) and virtually everyone on the show. It’s one of those things you have to suspend belief on. Kind of like the fact the Dean and Sam never use gloves at a crime scene and yet no Abby Scuito-like forensics specialist nails them for it.
@Dahne
When Abby is looking at Sam and Dean, she’s probably not looking at their hands.
CBS is dominating the total viewer numbers on Friday even though it’s losing the 18-49 demo to ABC, unlike Sunday where ABC is just crushing everybody across the board. Viewers outside the demo are secondary but have some value and CSI:NY is delivering them on Friday, a difficult night to attract TV viewers. That’s probably why it stays and CSI:Miami goes.
Nikita, Gossip Girl, and ANTM – all 0.4 in demo this week, all renewed. I would weep for the CW’s future except I can’t summon the interest to care. All I ask is that the CW stays afloat for 3 more seasons. Then it can be mired down on the ocean floor.
@Mickey 1.0 – Bwah! Love it, although Abby strikes me as a multi-tasker. She can admire and still analyze the data.

I’d love a SPN/NCIS crossover just to see that scene. With her personality and her interest in the supernatural, I bet her interactions with Sam and Dean would be hilarious.

I noticed the three 0.4s but didn’t connect the dots that all three shows were renewed. That is a little scary.
I’m rooting for the CW because it’s the underdog. And I would like it to find the way to adjust to the new challenges of DVR and online viewing and the competition of cable because all the broadcast networks are facing these challenges, the CW is just on the frontline.
On the other hand, I figure it’ll stay afloat until 2016 when its affiliates can drop the network, and Supernatural will be done by then so, I won’t have a stake in it anymore.
im confused about supernatural, i remember reading last year that season 7 would be the last but now its renewed?
How did Nikita get renewed and TSC get axed? Makes no sense

why CBS renewed csi ny with 1.2 rating ???
@manhf
Dunno where you read that because there was never an official announcement to that effect. Likewise, although some fans and people here have been saying that 8 should be the last, there hasn’t been an announcement that it will be. Figure if Gossip Girl gets a final season, SPN will too.
and CBS still remains dumb years later for cancelling Ghost Whisperer.
Addressing any new Supernatural fan: TNT is NOT starting S7 reruns after S2 concludes next Monday (May 21); TNT is starting another cycle of S3 reruns, with 3.07/3.08 repeating on Friday, May 25 and a Law and Order Marathon the next Monday (May 28), resuming S3 reruns on May 29. However, according to both Comcast and TVGuide.com, The CW is repeating SPN 7.01 (Meet the new boss) on Friday, May 25. (Nikita 2.01 is also scheduled to air at 8 pm).
This “summer” may be different – The CW may preempt some normally scheduled reruns for other, original programming – but in the past few summers The CW has only had time to approx. rerun 16 episodes.
TNT has always run a marathon of select old and “current” episodes before starting to re-air the “current” season, so I recommend that any new fan who has the means record all the reruns – you can always delete any repeats. That’s assuming you don’t want to buy S7 on Itunes or Amazon VOD. I haven’t checked but I think Hulu (the free one, not Hulu Plus) may have all episode about a week or so after the season 7 finale (this Friday, May 18). For Netflix users I have no idea when S7 will air on Netflix.
