Miami, FL May 14th 2012 – Tr3s: MTV, Música y Más, the bilingual/bicultural entertainment destination for Latinos in the US, introduces a new app for iPad and iPhone that offers extensive access to the network’s #1 flagship franchise, which now spans three milestones – quinces, marriages and babies. The new APP aims to deepen the fan experience through exclusive show footage and social event planning tools designed to inspire and enhance the user’s own milestone-event. The FREE APP will launch this summer.
“This all-access, easy-to-navigate APP puts the full power of the franchise at the fan’s fingertips, from exclusive footage and cast interaction to innovative features that allow party planners to stay informed on the latest trends and products, while keeping organized as they approach their big day,” said Rene Rodriguez, VP of Digital Content for the brand.
The “Quiero Mi APP” offers interactive tools that deliver organization and inspiration across multiple capabilities including "Event Planning”, “Shopping List” and “To Do List” features, as well as forums and social media components that allow users to share content and ideas with fellow “fiestanistas”. Advertisers will also introduce the latest products to enhance an event with presence on display banners, branded skins and throughout the APP tools. Franchise sponsors to date include Target, Cover Girl, Pampers, Skittles, AT&T and Toyota.
The “Quiero Mi” franchise spans three properties that celebrate the milestones of the bilingual/bicultural Latino through fan-favorites “Quiero Mis Quinces”, “Quiero Mi Boda”, and “Quiero Mi Baby”. The franchise goes behind-the-scenes as familial conflicts and joyous successes evolve around major milestones, with every episode offering the challenging realities that reflect the unique multi-cultural world of the bilingual/bicultural audience.
