ABC's Body Of Proof turned out to be my biggest prediction miss this season. The only "certain to be canceled" predicted show that was renewed. I'm still not quite sure how it got renewed, and may never know for certain. Looks like its 13 episode order for next season will be used as a schedule filler, likely for a failed rookie drama, or a mid-season replacement.
Other than that I predicted the fate of every other ABC show correctly in the final guesses this season, most long ago.
With that the Index bids the 2011-12 ABC season adieu, there will be no more ABC Renew / Cancel posts until September. Happy summer, ABC!

*shows no longer on the air have their Renew/Cancel Index "frozen" at the point they left the schedule.
Notes:
-
- certain to be cancelled by May, 2012 -
- more likely to be cancelled than renewed by May, 2012 -
- toss up between renewal or cancellation by May, 2012 -
- more likely to be renewed than cancelled by May, 2012 -
- certain to be renewed by May, 2012
The Renew/Cancel Index is the ratio of a scripted show's new episode adults 18-49 ratings relative to the new episode ratings of the other scripted shows on its own network. It's calculated by dividing a show's new episode Live+Same Day adults 18-49 average rating by the Live+Same Day new episode average of all the new scripted show episodes on the show's own network. The network's average ratings in the calculation are not time weighted (ex. hour long shows are not weighted twice what 30 minute shows are).
(F) -Fridays: Shows airing on Fridays were renewed with significantly lower than average Indexes.

ONCE UPON A TIME – RIP
MODERN FAMILY – 69 (+3)
Next voter, reset MF and Castle at 10 and vote -1,+1. ModernFamily domination!
Now THAT’S going to be hard…I love MF and Castle probably equally. I can’t vote until 7:34 pm my time, but thanks @Nick for voting OUAT out so I didn’t have to do it. That would have hurt me greatly, lol.
I’ll just do this part so the next person can easily copy and paste before voting for Ultimate Winner (+1 and -1):
CASTLE – 10
MODERN FAMILY – 10
The Winners’ Circle round has begun! Here goes nothing!
CASTLE – 11 (+1)
MODERN FAMILY – 9 (-1)
From Castle episode 4.10 “Cuffed” -
Castle: Do you know what Lanie and Esposito were fighting about?
Kate: Everything. They both want to be together but neither of them wants to admit to it.
Castle: Ugh, why do people do that to themselves?
Kate: Maybe they just don’t see it.
Castle: How could they not? It’s so obvious.
I really liked The River…..
damn it
No show will ever be like GCB.It made me laugh.i dnt care for any other show.
GCB was a great show, I dont think enough people gave it a chance. It had me cracking up at all times. I think u should give it another try
CASTLE – 12 (+1)
MODERN FAMILY – 8 (-1)
quote from MF [3.21]:
Claire: I had the best day. Phil, I did cartwheels.
Phil: Without me?
CASTLE – 13 (+1)
MODERN FAMILY – 7 (-1)
“I wouldn’t wanna be lake…”
-Sue Heck, from The Middle episode 3.23 “The Telling”
CASTLE – 12 (-1)
MODERN FAMILY – 8 (+1)
I can see I’m fighting a losing battle here.
“Unlike our kangaroo, Eden speaks English and doesn’t try to kick you in the gut.”
-Dallas, Suburgatory episode 1.21, “The Great Compromise”
@tvfreak
lol
How do you do the italics? I tried on another post and failed
@Rebecca
It hurt me too…lol
@Nick: To do italics, start by putting the letter “i,” between “,” right before the part that you want to italicize. To end the italics, do the same but put “/i” between the “.” To do bold letters, substitute “b” for “i.” There’s other tricks too, but I don’t remember them too well. Most of them I learned from writing reviews for Goodreads.
Dammit, the marks didn’t show…it’s the “carrot” marks that you get from pressing Shift with the comma and period keys.
CASTLE – 13 (+1)
MODERN FAMILY – 7 (-1)
Now I’ll try italics for one word.
Quote from OUAT [1.20]:
Snow White (but in Storybrooke, Ms. Blanchard): After a stint behind bars, how tough can a room full of fourth graders be?
CASTLE – 14 (+1)
MODERN FAMILY – 6 (-1)
“My last word to you…pusillanimous! [whisper] Last word… [regular voice] Darn it.”
-Brick Heck, from The Middle episode 3.24 “The Wedding”
@tvfreak
lol I heard that line from Brick last night and had a feeling someone would quote it today in the game.
I was really surprised and sad to hear that “Missing” was canceled. I thought it had a good plot, lots of action — and Ashley Judd was great in it!! Guess it wasn’t bloody, vulgar or trashy enough to stay on TV!! Who makes these decisions? The show wasn’t on long enough for the public to even discover it yet nor was it properly advertised to get the audience interested — I think this decision needs to be revisited and the show given more time to obtain a following. I think it will if given a proper opportunity to succeed….
So disappointed GCB is being cancelled. It was fun, witty and entertaining.
CASTLE – 13 (-1)
MODERN FAMILY – 7 (+1)
^i^ Not ^/i^ giving up…
Perfect quote…
“Is she even registered to vote here?” “She is now!”
-Tessa and George, Suburgatory episode 1.21, “The Great Compromise.”
No… wrong carrot things lol.
How about this ?
