CNN’s ratings are unbelievable…56k in the AM? 60’s in the demo during primetime? Unreal.

Ugh, another sad day for MSNBC and CNN.

Oh and Anderson Cooper at 8pm having fewer viewers than Erin Burnett?????

Is it just the NBA playoff’s that gutting the numbers? or that winter is History?

Ed Schultz is going full-blast on the Wisconsin recall election, whether viewers in the rest of the country like it or not. Wisconsin is Central time so he’s seen there at 7:00 and 10:00 pm. He’s also focusing on Wisconsin on his radio show. The other MSNBCers are doing some Wisconsin features too. It may stay this way until the election there is held.

    One for the ages !

Stimulus money went to California erectile dysfunction study.

The University of California-San Francisco spent $1.2 million in stimulus funds on studies on erectile dysfunction in overweight men, as well as studies on accuracy in the reporting of sexual history, NBC Bay Area reports:

    Jeezz did Jeffiepooo lie again.

Deputy Obama campaign director Stephanie Cutter did not know if the DNC would commit money to the Wisconsin recall election, in a Tuesday interview with MSNBC’s Chuck Todd.

    MSNBC and CNN are pathetic….

Lamestream media is starting to get it right.

“The New York Times/CBS poll is so bad for Obama. They are really worried in the White House, and it’s not new. They have been worried for a long time. This is not the first New York Times/CBS poll that has bad news for Obama.” -Rush Limbaugh

Here’s a contest that might interest some of you.

Now, there are going to be a total of ten winners in this sweepstakes, three grand prize winners, and here’s what the grand prize winners get: large Allen Brothers gift pack. This includes USDA prime, and this is really prime. This is the stuff that you cannot get in a grocery store. The reason is it goes to restaurants. There’s not that much of genuine prime. So the three grand prize winners will receive a large Allen Brothers gift pack including prime filet, jumbo hot dogs and steak burgers.

The grand prize winners, in addition to all of this great beef and the jumbo hot dogs from Allen Brothers, will receive a the top-of-the-line grill. And here’s the interesting thing about this. You pick the top-of-the-line grill. It’s your choice. Not some rinky-dinky little grill for one hot dog that you bring to a campsite. This is similar to the type of grill that we use at the house. It’s huge. This is a professional grill that you will be able to choose from. It’s built to serve an army of guests. The retail value here is at least $1500. In addition to the best steak and the best grill, the grand prize winners also get ten cases of the best tea in the country, and a very cool iron brander that will patriotically brand “USA” on your steak. You just heat up this brander, heat it up on the coals or over the grill and brand the steak with it, says “USA” on it.

You get a grilling apron and a set of new personalized engraved grill tools to go along with your top-of-the-line grill and the Allen Brothers beef that you can’t get anywhere else and the ten cases of tea.

@Coffee Steve: >>> CNN is sinking faster than the Titanic <<<

I would go one step further on the "sinking faster" analogy, CS.

I think it's sinking faster than the Edmund Fitzgerald. Maybe Gordon Lightfoot will write a six-minute song on the sinking of CNN? ;-)

‘Jeopardy!’ Loser Chris Matthews Introduces Guests as ‘Two of the Most Smartest People’

Fresh off his humiliating defeat on Jeopardy! Monday night, MSNBC’s Chris Matthews actually introduced a pair of guests Tuesday as “two of the most smartest people.”

Almost as funny, “two of the most smartest people” in the Hardball host’s opinion are Congressman Barney Frank (D-Mass.) and former Clinton labor secretary Robert Reich

CHRIS MATTHEWS: Coming up, JPMorgan lost a whopping two billion bucks just in the last couple of days. That’s got a lot of people saying, “Told you so.” Barney Frank’s coming here along with Robert Reich, two of the most smartest people in the progressive side to talk about why we need more regulation on banks so taxpayers don’t have to bail them out. They’re both coming here, Reich and Frank. And this is Hardball, the place for politics.
And you wonder why this guy thought the six-letter capital of Russia was Istanbul.

Even worse, despite his intellectual challenges, Matthews is still one of the most intelligent people on MSNBC.

There’s a joke in there if you ignore how sad a statement it is about this so-called “news network.”

Shock Poll: Romney now leads among women

President Obama’s claim that the GOP is mounting a war on women has proven to be a failure. A month into his assault on the Republicans and Mitt Romney, the new CBS-New York Times poll shows that the GOP presidential candidate now leads among women–and men.

Since April, women have gone from strongly backing Obama to endorsing Romney. In April, Obama held a 49 percent to 43 percent lead among women. That has now flipped to 46 percent backing Romney with 44 percent for Obama, an 8-point switch.

Obama worth as much as $10 million

Obama’s annual financial disclosure statement, released today:

He is a wealthy man, with assets of as much as $10 million.

He has a hefty stake in JP Morgan Chase, the megabank that just made a bad $2 billion bet. Obama has an account worth between $500,000 and $1 million.

Despite endorsing Obama in 2008, JFK’s daughter Caroline now considers Obama a “liar,” according to a family source in Edward Klein’s new book on Obama called “The Amateur.”

  • lbsles

The book claims that Obama and Caroline had a falling out when Obama refused to visit her in Martha’s Vineyard. Now Kennedy is upset with her Messiah…

“It really annoyed Caroline when comparisons were made by the media between Michelle and Jackie. Caroline had a word for such comparisons; she called them ‘odious.’ She really got annoyed. And when she began to fall out of love with the Obamas, love was replaced by outright scorn. Now she says things about Obama like, ‘I can’t stand to hear his voice any more. He’s a liar and worse.’” [Emphasis added]
