NCIS and the 8PM episode of Glee were each adjusted up a tenth among adults 18-49 versus Tuesday's preliminary ratings.

I think the CW made a big mistake in cancelling Ringer and TSC they both went up for their finales and 90210 went down. It’s official Ringer was the only show on Tuesdays this year not to go under a million!!!!!!!
90210 and Gossip Girl should have been canceled. The Secret Circle more than deserved a second season with the second highest overall viewers on the CW network
@Dan – Look at the overall number of viewers on the CW in the past 5 years; they dwindle further every year. If the Secret Circle had been produced and on the air in the time of the WB, it would probably have 5-6x the total viewership. The fact is that the WB/CBS merger into what is now the CW network was an epic fail. It would have been more lucrative for both the WB and UPN to stay in business
I understand the frustration with many of TSC/RINGER fans as they stuck with the show and then got no real ending. The CW was harsh!!!
But while the network struggles it has been down to the more established show’s which have helped the network survive (in the short term) with the netflix/upcoming syndication deals.
I know people don’t like to put much emphasis on The W18-34 demo (hardest to reach audience) but it is STILL the networks core audience (for now) and GG/HOD/90210/TVD are still the top rated which the advertisers are willing to pay for. (This is why I wasn’t surprised that HOD came back as I did well in this demographic and it’s cheap to make compared to Ringer).

@Kyle apart from last week GG was doing well in the w18-34 but The CW did not give a press release so I cannot confirm, will try and find out.

Ok, thanks, I would really appreciate that. I’ve stopped bothering about SPN and Nikita’s W18-34 numbers since they are really hard to find (not even in TFC).
90210 has done good this season, it’s averaged 0.7 just 10% down from last seasons average of 0.8

Last year 90210 averaged 1.7 million viewers and a 0.9 rating in adults 18-49.

People need to remember that TSC hit a .5 three or four times. This is the first time for 90210. And it doesn’t have the best lead in on the network. Soooo you’re dumb.
ABC did the right thing by getting rid of Cougar Town. I do feel Private Practice should only return with 13 episodes. Give it a proper ending and then return Body of Proof back in the slot.
Ringer never got less than 1 million. lol
