If the CW renewed Secret Circle, it would have moved from its cushy timeslot and starting pulling .3s and 800,000 viewers. Lets be real here. :D

  • Mate

90210 was renewed over TSC cause the TSC cost a lot to make, thats the reason!

@rob60990–I’m not so sure about that. The Secret Circle would have been in its season 2. There was still some opportunity to grow. Realistically, it could have premiered in the fall to a .7. If the season 2 plot was good, it could have remained steady at the .6 to .9 range.

Frankly, I’m really curious to learn why they CW canceled Secret Circle. I don’t think it was ratings alone. There may have been a cost issue too. Something tells me Nikita cost LESS to make.

@Bizarro – “It’s official Ringer was the only show on Tuesdays this year not to go under a million!!!!!!!”

Bwah! This made me laugh. Considering that the CW only has 2 Tuesday shows that is not saying much. That’s like saying Gossip Girl was the only Monday show that got a 0.7 demo 5 times or that Supernatural was the only CW show on Friday that got 2.0+ viewers.

  • Rick

    And Ringer was cancelled…why??

  • Ultima

LMFAO @ 90210; thats what you get for renewing shows before you air their finales.

And meanwhile shows like the Secret Circle get canceled?

Yes, you are, if you actually think anyone regrets renewing 90210 because it fell a tenth for its finale.

  • Ultima

    And Ringer was cancelled…why??

Because they thought going forward there was no way that the show would be profitbale, a conclusion they most likely reached in no small part due to the horrible ratings Ringer got.

NCIS is the winner of the night again. Great job! CBS cannot be stopped. Phenominal network. Too bad all the networks did not work like CBS…it would be an incredible television experience.

God The CW should have cancelled 90210 a looong time ago…

Its ratings have been horrible ever since its 2nd episode way back in 2008; right after everybody saw just how horrible the series premier was.

I have no idea why The CW keeps on renewing the show when it has been such a failure from the start.

The “remake” was not even half as good as the original BH 90210… I’d much rather pop in the DVD or go online to watch the 90’s version than watch any episode of The CW’s.

  • John

I was disappointed with the way NCIS ended the season. First, killing off one of the main cast members is one of the most cliched way to end a season on TV. Second, adhering to strict PC, the villain is a rich white CEO. Really? That’s who the terrorists who want to destroy the US are? I can’t remember the the last time this series had a black or Muslim perp. At least NCIS: LA had some episodes about black Yemeni Muslim terrorists early in the season.

Good God “Cougar Town”… A series lows back to back. I cant believe my favorite comedy has been repeatedly getting its ass kicked in viewers and ratings… Im so glad TBS picked it up for season 4 because it just cant compete with the other juggernaut shows out there. Its a shame because the show is hilarious and NOT ABOUT COUGARS!

Prediction: next season, Gossip Girl (already announced), 90210, and America’s Next Top Model will all get the boot, and Carrie’s Diaries will fail, thus once and for all putting an end to Dawn Ostroff’s CW. Let’s see if it comes true.

@A I’ve seen you post before and I know you’re a fan of GG. I recall GG hit below 1mill viewers for a few episodes and hit 0.4 in demos.
    LMAO!!!!! @GG

I have the last laugh! Not laughing now are ya?

  • Fabian

This season? “Safe Harbor”, the two-part “Engaged”, there’s “Need To Know” and let’s not forget about Director Vance’s brother in “The Good Son” who also turned out to be the killer.

Simply awesome season finales of NCIS and NCIS: LA!

  • Kalleb

Okay, comparing this to Glee’s season finale, Glee went up the week after. So they made a typo.
