Ouch, another bad day for CNN and MSNBC. What Miss Maddow is lacking and sadly what the other MSNBC-ers are also is consistancy. One day up and the other day way down. Fox folks tend to be more consistant in viewership, which is why they are profitable for advertisers. Fox may not be the most perfect network, but none can deny their profitablity.
I dont believe the Liberal Media!!! NBC “news” was CAUGHT doctoring the Zimmerman 911 tapes!!! Where’s the outrage? Yet Liberal attack ONLY Foxnews out of all the TV news. Another sign that all tv news is Liberal EXCEPT Fox.
Ed’s ratings were CNN-like.
Ouch.
Raz: I agree Fox isn’t perfect but are the best of a bad lot.
I’m a conservative but I do wish Anderson Cooper’s ratings were better. He does good work and seems like an ok guy. Plus he’s not an idiot like maddow or a racist like sharpton.
As goes MSNBC so goes Obama. losers
What would you do if you owned a Proffessionsalbasketball team who got beat every stinking day, 120 – 45….???? Would you even consider COPYING the team that was beating your team???? Would you consider trying to STEAL some of their better players???? Of would you just shrug your shoulders and say “I don’t care if we get beat every day 120 – 45, we’re still a better team than them”……. In other words TRYING THE SAME FAILING THING OVER AND OVER, AND THINKING (HOPING) YOU’LL GET DIFFERENT RESULTS…..???? THAT’S CALLED INSANITY…. AND IT DEFINES PMSNBC AND CNN….
CNN continues its pitiful slide.
“CNN hosts are the real problem:
With the possible exception of Anderson Cooper, CNN hasn’t found a
host “who really appeals to independents, or the independently minded liberals and conservatives out there.
Instead of just letting partisans sound off, CNN should try challenging them by doing original investigative work. “Something amazing might happen — people might actually watch you again.”
“Friendly advice to CNN — change everything” ( The Week)

U.S. Imposes Anti-Dumping Duties on Chinese Solar Imports
Bloomberg
The U.S. Commerce Department imposed tariffs of 31 percent to 250 percent on imports of Chinese solar products after companies including SolarWorld AG (SWV)’s U.S. unit accused them of setting prices below the cost of production
Opponents of the punitive tariffs, such as the Washington-based Coalition for Affordable Solar Energy, which includes Westinghouse Solar Inc. (WEST) and more than 100 other companies, claim the levies would cost U.S. jobs.
Oh-oh . I bet a trade war with China will hurt the solar industry,& , cost jobs …

USPS to cut 13,000 jobs
Patrick Donahoe, postmaster general of the United States Postal Service, announced today that the USPS will cut 13,000 people out of its workforce by 2014
The process begins next week, when 5,000 employees “will begin receiving notifications next week related to consolidating and other efficiency-enhancing activities to be conducted this summer.”

Touting car bailout, Team Obama ignores 112,150 dealer firings
Wash. Ex.
According to industry insiders, some 2,243 dealerships were ordered closed in virtually every corner of the country. And with an average of 50 workers per dealership, according to auto dealers groups, that means some 112,150 salesmen, mechanics, finance managers and custodians were shoved out of their job.
@ Patrick W.
Rachel Maddow’s an idiot?
So someone who earned a Rhodes Scholarship while attending Stanford. And then went on to earn her doctorate from Oxford is an idiot?
What an idiotic comment to make.
Let’s face it.
The only REAL competition daily is 9PM between Hannity and Maddow in the 25-54′s. Rachel has come close to Sean a few times, but last night it was a slaughter.
Maybe, Hannity hosting the guy who interviewed the Rev. Wright at length brought a lot more viewers to FNC.
Looks like Ed’s numbers are heading south !
@Rod D: Citing one’s college education and post-graduate work does not impress at all. A lot of them are probably working at McDonald’s because our government, politicians on both sides, sent all of our good jobs away to other continents.
The true measure of a person’s intelligence is what he or she accomplishes in the Real World. These days, those framed diplomas on the wall just proves that you were a good student.
So, you can get your Rhodes at Stanford and get a phd at Oxford…and still be an idiot.
@Ralph Hahn
Well put.
Rakel Maddow is an IDIOT and a MORON she is STOOPID (sic) she doesn’t have common sense, she is also very abrasive and annoying and she deserves low
ratings….. ahe is a LOSER.
@Rod D
Obama can get a Nobel peace prize with doing anything and still be a idiot.
@ usnretx2
a slight opus to you.
Ventura is the wrong word to use when ships are refueling.
Correct spellimg is Venturi.
Info for all: The Venturi effect is the reduction in fluid pressure that results when a fluid flows through a constricted area. When two ships are close togeter the water will beging to flow faster between the two ships. This increase in water flow will cause the two ships to move toward each other. To counter this effect the two ships will turn their respective ships to the outside, the one on the right steers a little to the right while the one on the left steers slightly to the left. The faster that they are moving the more pronounce the steering will be.
@ Ralph, Mike, etc.
So what exactly makes Rachel an idiot?
She definitely has a higher IQ than you all.
Rod, how do you know that?
Who will win the hate wars this week?
DB, I’ll admit there is a possibility that one of us has a higher IQ than Rachel. But it’s very unlikely.
Rachel’s at the George Will, Paul Krugman, William Buckley level of intelligence.
Often lacking in common sense, but very book smart.
