Dog The Bounty Hunter has been canceled by A&E after eight seasons.

The last ratings we have for the show, which I assume were the eighth season finale were a 0.8 adults 18-49 rating and 1.776 million viewers on 4/25/12.

    About time!

That’s an impressive run for any show. Well done, Dog!

I like Dog and his children and I thought Dog the Bounty Hunter was a great show. That said, it wasn’t Dog the Bounty Hunter that was cancelled this week – that hasn’t aired in a couple of years now. What was cancelled was The Beth Show, and that has needed to go for a while…

I stopped watching after Beth blocked me on twitter. She was trashing the Kardashians on how they were trash and how her and Dog were better than them. Looks like the Kardashians have 3 times the viewers, more shows and lasting longer! Take that Beth!

This will go a small way towards making up for Breakout Kings being canned but still not enough.

If only what this show had been canceled after one episode, so A&E would still be showing Horatio Hornblower…

Remember when A&E and Bravo started and their programming consisted of classical music concerts, arts programs and like shows that PBS had produced for years. Lo and behold….a decade later we are given DOG and REAL HOUSEWIVES. How times change……………….

For the longest time since this has been on TV, I wondered how anyone could take someone like him seriously running around looking like someone from the group the Village People, nipples hanging out and with his red neck family. Especially his wife, whom I am sure is a nice person but forgetting to put a bra on as her boobs bounce everywhere. Seriously! Only in America.

I’ll miss Dog and his haggard looking yet large chested push up bra wearing wife.

Finally. I must say, I tried to watch it this season for kicks and giggles but that stupid twitter feed crap got in the way. Hope it’s a swiftly passing phase but I have my doubts.

I’m glad it was canceled. It was long overdue. I’m sick of Beth and her minions bullying and harassing people on social networks and her Prank Call Network!

This was my top favorite show I couldn’t miss on tv. Gordan Ramsey is the 2nd. I was wondering why he wasn’t on since it was a new season & not many shows were seen. His ratings were too high so it has to come back somewhere.

Dog the Bounty hunter was my favorite show. Guess I have to go back to wrestling watching. Good luck to dog and his crew. I don’t watch to much t.v. anyway. At least I’m not the only one who enjoyed the show. I like how it was all about catching the bad guys and gals and the dog and his wife Beth tried to get people to give up taking drugs and other bad habits.
