Well, at least Nikita stays steady in viewers and demo. It’s a shame that nobody watches. Awesome show.
Woohoo Supernatural and Grimm! Poor Nikita
I think HOD actually beat SPN for viewers for their finales?
Happy for Supernatural, but its number of Viewers is adjusted down, I believe.
Supernatural had a terrible finale… Season 5 should have been it’s last. It would be perfect.
You should add that Nikita and Supernatural were season finales.
Supernatural was preempted somewhere according to fan reports.
I thought Nikita might adjust up for its finale. Silly of me to think that. SPN solid as always.
Yes!!! Supernatural finale adjusted up! That should put a damper on those who claimed it got low ratings because it sucked.
Can’t wait for Season 8.
Total viewers don’t matter. Only the demo. SPN had 2nd highest demo on the CW for its finale. It’s been steady as a rock. Odd that total audience was so low for a 0.7. I wasn’t expecting an upward adjustment, particularly as it was pre emptied for baseball on the west coast. Well done SPN for an incredibly consistent ratings performance this season.
Secfonding what Geordiegirl1967 said.
I had a feeling Supernatural would adjust up. Nice to see.
@Hades
Yes, HoD did beat SPN for viewers. However, while it’s a nice soundbite for HoD, the number of viewers is meaningless to the network. Nikita’s been getting more in audience than most other shows on the network for most of the season, but it’s still been in trouble because its demos have mostly been dead last. Similarly, if HoD hadn’t been getting slightly better demos than some other shows, it would have gone the way of Ringer and TSC.
*seconding. Man I wish we had an edit button
Crap I was hoping that NIKITA would’ve adjusted up since it went up in the last half-hour.
Glad total viewers didn’t drop too much.
The ratings for last week
Supernatural 1.56 0.7
Hart of Dixie 1.60 0.6
Nikita 1.42 0.6
Gossip Girl 1.14 0.6
America’s Next Top Model 1.16 0.5
90210 0.98 0.5
LA Complex 0.53 0.2
It’s pretty crazy that SPN is almost double in ratings over Nikita, yet Nikita’s only 140k less in viewers. Other shows ended with higher ratings yet lower viewers.
How can the CW attract more of the 18-49 crowd on the CW? Maybe they should start saying it’s one of the most viewed shows on the network to garner interest in it (even if it’s lower rated). I really don’t know, I’m not in advertising haha.
Nikita is nothing if not highly consistent. I can’t wait for next season (and hopefully season 4).
Way to go Supernatural!! Beautifully stable all season.
@Harris SPN is more consistant 0.7.
Damn, I was hoping that Nikita would’ve adjusted down! We’ll see a 0.3 only next season =/
