@LisaM
becuz the viewers are prob 50+ or under 18
@Michael
Why do you think it’ll get a 1.0 next season? I’m not at all saying it can’t happen, but I’m more skeptical.
Yay for Supernatural!
While Supernatural could improve during the week, I’m not so sure it will Wednesday at 9 unless Arrow really hits. It’s become the most competitive timeslot with Modern Family, X Factor/Idol, and Criminal Minds. It will probably pull lots of .8s.
AC75, Supernatural has a dedicated fan-base! I have a big feeling more fans will tune in LIVE, on Wednesday.
@Michael
I really hope you’re right, but I’m thinking it’s gonna be hard to reverse the habits of fans who switched to downloading or DVR since the show went to Friday. I’ll be happy if it just holds it’s own.
@Micheal
Hope you’re right about that.
But my guess still say more 8s, and it could depends on Arrow as well.
AC75 & Josh, TVD + SPN are the only shows on the CW (I can’t judge the new shows yet), that can compete with massive shows like: American idol, X Factor, Big Bang Theory, etc and still pull in decent/stable numbers for the network.
Last season SPN finished at 0.8 and this season it finishes at 0.7
Pretty consistent!
Nice job, Grimm holding steady. I was a tad worried that the finale might be adjusted down. NBC must be pleased. I wish the finale was stronger, but hopefully the audience returns next season and maybe grows a little due to the Olympics.
@Mickey 1.0
I saw your name, kept scrolling and then saw my name appear twice in must be your usual long treatise full of twisting the ratings to fit whatever point you are trying to make at the moment. I then returned scrolling.
Nikita, Supernatural, and Grimm all getting it done right now.
Can’t wait to see how Whitney does on June 8th in repeats for NBC.
@karvyn
It doesn’t work that way. Demo reflects how many of the viewers fall into the demographic. That’s why a show like SPN can have 1.5 million viewers and a show like Harry’s Law can have literally ten times that, but their demographics are pretty close.
@SarahL
actually it was a compliment. Oh not toward you, but toward Grimm.
See you guys next season on Wednesday TV Ratings threads!
p.s. nice conclusion, Mickey!
What IwuvDean said. See you all next year Thursdays, which would be weird because I’m so used to chatting about SPN on Saturdays. Grimm and Fringe fans, salute to you.
Not next year, actually, next season.
Thank goodness Supernatural adjusted up! I’m glad I can watch it live next seasonas well.
Now that Supernatural is no longer on Fridays and taking up space on my DVR, I think I am going to DVR Grimm. It seems like it would be a good show. I should catch up on season one.
Congrats on SPN rising again. It has been amazingly consistent all year. I’m hoping next season will be the same consistency with a slightly higher demo. It will be weird not scrolling through 12 pages on Saturday next season though. I’ll check Fringe’s ratings but they won’t matter. Maybe Grimm will hook me and I’ll get excited about its fate. Other than that, I will be the latecomer to the Thursday pages due to work. At least we won’t have to wait so long to see if the ratings rise though.
Nikita finale was awesome. Cant wait for next season!!!
P.S. R.I.P Percy
I am sooo happy for SPN !!!!
The finale was a bit weak , but I still loved the entire season as a whole !
I am so glad that it got renewed.
I wonder if they were told by the CW that they would get a renewal before they shot the finale since it was left in a cliffhanger ??
I dont think they would have done a cliffhanger unless they were totally confident or told ahead of time they would get a renewal.
I think they should go back to what was working best in season 1-6, season 7 kind of took on a new feel. I think it may have had something to do with o0ne of the new producers Sarah Gamble. I know she has been with the show forever, but as a producer I dont think she was cut out for it.
I am looking forward to them bring back the guy that does Being Human to take her place (Jeremy Carver ) ????
