HIGHLY ANTICIPATED DOCUSERIES, BRISTOL PALIN: LIFE’S A TRIPP, TO PREMIERE TUESDAY, JUNE 19TH, ON LIFETIME

14 Half Hour Episodes Will Follow Bristol’s Life as a Single Mother

LOS ANGELES, CA (May 22, 2012) – Viewers will get the chance to experience the life of one of America’s most famous young mothers, Bristol Palin, in the all new docuseries, Bristol Palin: Life’s a Tripp, premiering Tuesday, June 19, at 10pm ET/PT with back-to-back episodes.  Two new episodes will subsequently air every Tuesday, showcasing Bristol’s journey growing into womanhood with her young son, Tripp.

With never-before-granted access to Bristol’s real-life experiences, the show follows her everyday life as a single mother living under intense media scrutiny that comes from her lineage as the daughter of former Alaska Governor and Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin.  The series follows Bristol’s move from Wasilla to Los Angeles with Tripp and her sister Willow, and back to Alaska as she deals with parenting and disciplining her toddler without Tripp’s father.  Giving viewers a unique look at the difficult decisions she has to make for her relationships, career and family, Bristol Palin: Life’s a Tripp will capture how these true-to-life challenges test her resolve as she single-handedly writes the next chapter in her and Tripp’s life.

Bristol Palin: Life’s a Tripp is produced by Associated Television International, with David McKenzie, Jim Romanovich and David Martin executive producing with Lifetime’s Rob Sharenow, Gena McCarthy and Noah Pollack.  Matt Lutz and Robyn Schnieders are co-executive producers.

The former first daughter of Alaska, Bristol has become one of the country’s most high-profile teen mothers after the 2008 birth of Tripp.  She has since dedicated her life to being a leading advocate for the prevention of teen pregnancy, working with such organizations as the Candie’s Foundation to educate people about the issue.  In 2010, Bristol appeared on ABC’s hit reality competition series Dancing with the Stars, on which she placed in third.  Most recently, she published her New York Times best-selling book, Not Afraid of Life: My Journey So Far, which candidly chronicles her public and personal life.  Bristol also launched her own blog http://www.patheos.com/blogs/bristolpalin/, where readers can get her views and opinions on various topics such as politics, pop culture and parenting.

  2. Aok

I can probably get the same thing at the local trailer park.

  3. Observer

    They ARE awfully cute.

  4. Simon Jester

    “Highly anticipated”??? By whom?

  5. tomsman

@Simon Jester – you beat me to it!

  6. DonMedia

What ever happened to the first show she was filming in LA shacking up with the 2 guys from Dancing With The Stars where she got in the bar fight?

  7. Anthony Parello (AP076)

I enjoy some non-scripted competitions on network but these “celebtreality” shows on cable are just pointless.

  8. Anthony Parello (AP076)

Why does this show even need to exist. Her life of privilege and pseudo celebrity status in not way shape or form is representative of the struggles that single mothers face around the nation on a daily basis.

  9. Bjm

    Highly anticipated?

  10. Bob

I guess it is highly anticipated by the Tea Party people who make up according to them 40 percent of the United States. I guess she will have a lot of red state folks watching. Her mother has a lot of popularity in some areas. I have no problem with Bristol having a show but I do have a problem with her complaining about Obama using his children for politics when her very own mother did the same thing. /end rant

  11. Brian

Really ? another reality show with another SLUT?
    GIVE IT UP! TRASH! TOTAL…………T R A S H!

  12. Gary

HAHA you guys crack me up. You get your panties in a twist over this young woman having a tv show. I could care less who she is, whether she is from a Democrat or Republican family. This is America, the land of opportunity. If Lifetime can make money off this show then great, if not, then it will get canceled. But for all you idiots to get so angry over this, shows just how unhinged you are. Take a look in the mirror about your own life and dont cast stones on others. Either watch the show or dont, just dont be so hypocritical. I wont be watching because it doesnt seem interesting, but thats as far as I take it. People in this country need to relax and live their own lives and quit wasting their time complaining about other people.

I was gonna say Highly Antecipated by whom but Simon Jester already said it. Who cares about these people. Bitch please.

  14. Gary

    Brian,

You call her trash correct? Guaranteed your girlfriend(if you even have one)isnt as successful or cute as Bristol. WHat does that make you to call a young woman trash? Makes you a judgmental idiot whose own life probably isnt half as successful as hers. Relax and enjoy life and be kind to people.

  15. bob

She is basically using her son to profit. Like her quitter mother does, uses Trig.

  16. GinaM

Gary….. Gee you sound strangely like the Palin Family Stalkers many different personalities! Hi Kristy Patullo! LOL!

  17. Amy C.

    Highly anticipated by Bristol..

  18. Anthony Parello (AP076)

@Brian I think using that word to describe her is wrong. There are many things and ways to criticize Miss Palin for calling her that seems uncalled for.
@Gary I think you mean you “couldN’T” care less but that would be “hypercritical” of me to point out. Especially after I botched “in no way, shape, or form” myself ;-)

  19. Rich C

anticipated by whom? Really, what human being without the Palin surname is looking forward to this?

  20. Viva

Is there nothing she won’t do to avoid getting a job?
