   well it looks to me as if people fell asleep during the second basketball game because a rerun of Franklin and bash could not do those numbers without people falling asleep.

   I will post them once our secondary source of cable ratings arrives. The fact they are not in the list above means they were not among the top 100 for adults 25-54 on the day.

    Someone please explain to me how Secret Life didn’t make the top 100 when those numbers from Futon Critic are better than a dozen or more shows on this list? How does Lost Girl make the list when their total viewers and 18-49 rating were lower than Secret Life’s?

    That’s why Secret Life isn’t on the list. TVBTN gets data based on the 25-54 demo but lists said data here based on the 18-49 demo. Secret Life skews a little younger than do some other shows. Hence, the discrepancy.

    It’s because this list posted here is the top 100 shows for the day among the adults 25-54 demo.

    ABC Family shows (and some MTV/VH1 shows because this does happen) skew much younger so while they would most likely appear in a top 100 adults 18-49 list, they probably wouldn’t appear here when their numbers start to hover around that 0.4-0.6 A18-49 demo range.

    Also Futon Critic only posts original primetime shows (why they have so many low rated shows on their list) they pick out all the programs and specials that aired new episodes for that particular day and exclude nearly everything else.

    Thanks to those who answered. I get it now. Still not fair. I know those numbers are low for Secret Life, but it should be on the list for top 100 for the day.

    Secret Life has always been an awful show. I’m glad its ratings are finally reflecting that.

    ABC Family as a network is just doing a piss poor job with all of their shows except Pretty Little Liars. I hope that this is a wake up call for them and the SL writers!

    ABC Family needs to stop with these 6 month hiatus’. They’re really hurting their shows. The only show that never has a 6 month hiatus is PLL. Coincidence that PLL is the only show that continually does well? I think not. Watch when S@B and TLG come back after their 6 month hiatus. Their ratings will slide big time. Wake up, ABC Family!

    Why doesn’t TVLand go H.D.? I like Hot in Cleveland, and Happily Divorced, but the low quality picture sucks.
