   @xwiseguyx – Flipped Off at 10P on A&E pulled in 680K viewers with a .28 in the A18-49 demo. The 11P airing averaged 522K viewers with a .23 in the demo. Meanwhile, over on HGTV at 9, Meg’s Great Rooms had 652K viewers with a .12 in the demo.

   @Frank12 – Wicked Tuna’s viewership at 10P was 537K with a .22 A18-49 rating.

   @Harpo – Oprah’s Next Chapter brought in 561K viewers at 9P (.13 A18-49).

   This week’s episode of The Killing was again quite good and although it’s not likely, I would welcome another season. I went back to watching it live and skipped Game of Thrones since every week is the same.

   I have read a few pages of the novel and assumed that it would dead boring. But, its not as boring as I once thought. Dany and her dragons are really an interesting part. Jon Snow gets more interesting when they bring out all the creatures in the north of the wall. I don’t know when’s that gonna happen.

   This whole war story is a little bit boring. Especially Robb Stark – that guy is not acting well. Its kinda the same over and over again. In King’s landing its not at all like a War is Coming. Every one’s looking calm and peaceful in King’s Landing. I believe, this is not going well because of lack of budget. Creating a war, requires a lot more budget and also great skill which the writers seem to be lagging.

   Next episode is the most awaited one. So, I am sure, its gonna be interesting. But, I don’t know, where this show would go in in its third season. I hope they concentrate on magic more and bring magic and kings together. Not just Kings Vs Kings, but Kings Vs Magic. That would be awesome.

    @L.L. I Love the Farm , if you weren’t on the defensive so often, you wouldn’t be a bad poster.

    However, your hypocrisy — or your immaturity — allows you to continually bash Mad Men and its followers, apparently because you’re angry that some people don’t like zombies.

    I have no problem with the shows you like, and you make a good case for carrying them and watching them. You turn into a total troll when you start calling everything you don’t like a POS. If you can’t understand what a show like Mad Men does for a cable network, no amount of explaining it will suffice. You come across like a petulant little child who craves attention.

    Of course, I just gave you more attention, which will help make your day. Keep trolling.

    Watch next episode. I largely agree with your feelings about this season, being a bit boring. But Episode 9 is definitely not more of the same.

    Not panicing in king’s Landing. Panicing, no, but I hardly say they’re all happy-fun times and aren’t worried at all. Theres talks of starvation, etc etc.

    Also IUt’s not a magic heavy series, there will be more in future season, but it will always focus more on politics and family than anything else.

    So glad Shake It Up grew out of its lead-in and got 3 million viewers. And Victorious almost 4 million viewers??? Wow!!!!!!!

    Mad Men is gonna get at least another season to wrap things up. Based on its historic legacy, it will get at least that. However, this season has been dark and not very appealing to most viewers. It should end in one more year before it gets much worse.

    Mad Men is getting TWO more seasons. That was announced a LONG time ago.

    This season has been great, and it has not been dark. I’m speaking for myself, but also for fans of Mad Men, one of television’s finest shows of all time.

    Jennifer Love does it again.. 3rd successful show shes been on.. Good for her…

    As for the Killing ..it’s finally getting good but the ratings are horrid.. i hope AMC may give this show another chance.. A news case next season may drive up the ratings..

    im sure HBO made a killing from the DVD/Blu Ray Release of Season 1 of Game of Thrones as well..lets not forget that.

    I think if The Killings ratings increase when Game of Thrones ends, AMC will renew it and realise that they have it in a bad time slot.
    It should have aired at 10 will Mad Men as a lead in

    It’s difficult to say what AMC thinks of The Killing’s numbers since Mad Men is only a couple points ahead of it. It could probably go either way.

    Pay more attention when you make your attempts at reading. It might improve your comprehension. I wrote that I despise POS Mad Man fans who look down on the zombie genre. That is entirely different from being “angry that some people don’t like zombies”.

    You call Mad Man one of television’s finest shows of all time. I call it a POS. I have not watched a single minute of Mad Man, but from a BY THE NUMBERS perspective, Mad Man truly is a POS. This blog is called “TV by the Numbers”, not “This Show is Great Because I Told You So”.

    Long live The Walking Dead and the zombie genre!
