Round 2 of the NBA Playoffs took the top spot on cable Sunday, earning a 2.0 18-49 rating. Game of Thrones was a close second, also scoring a 2.o 18-49 rating, up a tenth from last week.

We only receive the top 100 cable shows for adults 25-54 for the whole day from our principal source. If you don’t see an original episode of a show here, it’s because it wasn’t in the top 100.

The list below is long but you can use your browsers "find on page" feature (usually CTRL+F or CMD+F) to search - that's probably the easiest way to find Veep.

Update: extra shows (including Nurse Jackie and Girls) via commenter Nick are below the normal table as well as the comments.

    I might be in the minority here but I find GoT very interesting this season. The Killing on the other hand is just horrible.

  • KS

    @Barbarossa

    You said “panicing” in your post. Was that “Panicking”?

    Have you read all the novels? Is it gonna get more interesting – if it is based on heavily Family and Politics? Is it gonna be a fight for Iron Throne till the last book or is there going to be any major change in upcoming seasons?

    Is it true that, two more novels are yet to be released?

  • Dennis

    @LoveLee thats funny because I’ve totally lost interest in GoT this season but my interest has shot up massively with The Killing, especially the last few episodes which have been fantastic

  • Rick

    @L.L. I Love the Farm

    You really should practice what you preach. You make more ““This Show is Great Because I Told You So” comments than just about any other poster on this site.

    Those zombies should have given you a thicker skin by now. It’s pretty sad that you’re so defensive about negative zombie comments that you have to go on the attack so often, hitting back at shows (like Mad Men) that you won’t watch a minute of.

    It’s also pretty hilarious. Thanks for the entertainment.

  • KS

    @Lovelee

    If you want to compare with other shows, yes GoT season 2 is really interesting. But if you compare this season to season 1, yes, its boring.

    There is hardly any progress in the story, since the last 3-4 episodes as far as the big war for Iron Throne among the 5 kings is concerned. And there are not really big twists, surprises this season. On a whole, this season is going really slow. As I said earlier,
    1. Daenerys Targaryen and Dragons are the interesting part.
    2. Arya is great to watch.
    3. There is hardly any progress in Jon Snow story this season. I don’t know something interesting gonna happen in the next few episodes.
    4. Robb is the most boring character.
    5. Cersei and Tyrion seem to be sorting issues their own brother-sister issues rather than discussing about war. IMO, there are not really any mentions about war nor did they show big preparations for war going on.
    6. Tyrion is interesting, though.
    7. Stannis Baratheon is not really shown enough to appreciate him. But, he is OK in the parts. I hoped they would show more about the shadow monster, but they didn’t. I hope that monster would help in tomorrow’s war.
    8. Jamie Lannister is merely a guest star this season.
    9. Theon is not an interesting character. But, I am expecting that, some stupid things he do for honor, are gonna bring big changes to the war.
    10. Its really poignant to see Catelyn, Sansa and Bran. They are all helpless and it is really felt.

    As of now, I would give this season 4.5/10. I hope they introduce interesting things, like they introduced Dragons at the end of last season.

  • Barbarossa

    @KS.

    yes there will be 7 books in total, and 5 are out right now. The 3rd book is actually being split into 2 seasons apparently because theres so much in it, they can’t fit all the important bits into one episode season. The events in the 4th&5th take place largely at the same time, so they’ll probably be belended together over seasons 5&6. So hopefully there will be atleast 8 seasons of the show. (You will hear a lot people didn’t like the last 2 books as much as the first 3)

    The battle of the throne of Westeros and all that is still the major theme, but the supernatural magical elements have been building and are getting fairly big. I think it gets more interesting definitely.

  • KS

    @Barbarossa

    What do you vote for – More of magic or More of Politics and family?

  • greenf

    Great ratings all around for the 4-day Harry Potter weekend on ABC Family.

  • Barbarossa

    @KS
    Also I think you’ve missed some pretty big discussions
    about the war and seiege, and preperations for it. There were a couple this last episode, though some like his discussion with Cersei on the Morale of having the King Fight with his troops, did get lost in the “brother-sister issues” you mentioned

  • LoveLee

    @ Dennis. I watched The Killing faithfully season 1 and got so disgusted with the writing. Season 2 just is not doing anything for me…will watch the season finale to see the killer revealed (hopefully) and then I am done. GoT…I just look forward to watching every Sunday night……no boredom on my part.

  • L.L. I Love the Farm

    By now, everyone should know I have gotten away with a lot more than probably any commenter on this blog, maybe ever. I doubt seriously if Bob or the competent people who run this great blog would have let me done so if, looking beyond my vitriol and rantage (which I write for effect), there were not some seriously salient “by the numbers” business observations in my commentary.

    The fact is that Mad Man really is a POS in terms of the resources allocated to it by AMC and in terms of AMC’s aspirations and self-perceived position in the television industry. Josh Sapan and AMC told the world that they are a 75-cent-per-subscriber-per-month network. The world looked at Mad Man this season, saw it for the POS that it is, yawned, and told AMC, “No, you are are a 24-cent-per-subscriber-per-month network, and you better start playing nice again with the cable and satellite operators or someone other than DISH Network will drop you on your behind.” Indeed, AMC better get its humility and clear-headedness back or its stock will sink to depths that not even TWD can rescue it in the fall.

    Go ahead and love the POS all you want, Rick and other Mad Man fans. I could not care less that you love your POS. In fact, I wish there were more Mad Man fans so the POS can carry its own jock instead of being a parasyte to the economic wonder that is TWD.

    I will retire for the summer now and will not comment here until TWD comes back in October. As SarahL will corroborate, I have been waiting a while for Mad Man to reverse its continued decline to take a break from posting, but the POS Mad Man is unstoppable at ratings FAILURE.

    My compliments again to TVBTN, and long live The Walking Dead and the zombie genre!

    You have obviously never visited the Cable News threads.

  • Kaylie

    Oh no Good Luck Charlie!!!! Austin & Ally grew massively & Shake it Up did ok. 7:30 timeslots are not winning for Disney. It hurts that they dont see that. They need to start at 8:00.

  • KS

    @Barbarossa

    Yeah, they are not that significant but. The frequency of this discussions should have been more. But, honestly I can’t just wait for next episode.
    And I am pretty sure that regains all my interest in the series.

    We don’t generally read the comments, our automated spam filter takes care of most profanity and spam. Unless someone brings comments to our attention, we’re hands off.

    Do not interpret that hands off attitude as an endorsement.

    Is this about that alchemist thing, who has loads of pots filled with, some chemical?

  • L.L. I Love the Farm

    Say it ain’t so, Bill!

    Have a great summer, everyone.

  • SMG4E

    The Client List shot up 3 tenths from a 0.8 to a 1.1. As I’ve been saying for a while now, I know that this show will be around for a few more years.

    Also, just found out that Betty White will be guest starring on the Season 1 finale on June 17. She’ll play a woman named Ruth Gibbons, the wife of one of Riley’s clients, who gives Riley advice on how to make a marriage last.

  • Barbarossa

    Thats one of them. But this isn’t really the place to discuss, this. I will give you that teoir should’ve been. more yes Next weeks episodes should be excellent

  • AC75

    @Dennis

    I’m with you. The Killing was my Sunday night show last season but I started out this year watching Game of Thrones live just cause of the hype surrounding it. After several weeks though, I shifted back to The Killing. I completely understand people saying it’s too slow or whatever, but for me, I always enjoy it.

    Game of Thrones has never really pulled me in.
