Suik,
I’m going to take a page from some of your posts. What is (and call you can do)that? ‘Mr Perfect?’You’re always quick to call out someone when they misspell a word .
Suik,
I made a few mistakes from the post above ,just for you ,so you can feel better.
Steve Perry ,
Please provide your source. As I wrote suik in the last room, of the the three cable news networks, Fox tops CNN & especially MSNBC in revenues. They charge their advertisers a higher rate. Where they are weak is digitally. CNN has strong web volume & CNN International & HLN , but, weak TV viewership. MSNBC is my home page & is well designed & well used , plus , it has hotmail & NBC backing. While all three continue to drop in viewers, revenue is expected to rise in 2012 for all cable news networks.
Check out revenues of the three here:

Hey Suiki
You always seem to only read certain words and you have a hard time reading your own posts because you consistantly deny saying what you said even though it is in black and white but…………here is the mos ludicrus statemetn made by the Perrymeister and it is not aimed at FOX as you so clearly tried to spin
Cable News is DEAD!!!
Now THAT seems drug induced to me!
Even the lowest rated Broadcast News show…CBS Evening News…draws more than twice the viewers than the highest Cable News show…The O’Reilly Factor. Now that’s pretty sad.
Again, Cable News is the Minor Leagues when compared to Broadcast News viewership.
Steve Perry ,
This is a cable news site. Of course, the alphabet news trumps cable with number of viewers. We haven’t been talking about the major networks here. They probably have their own threads to chat away on.
Quality of a-b-c news?
Catholic Leaders sue on HHS Mandate
Over 40 Catholic dioceses and organizations around the country announced on Monday that they were suing the Obama administration for violating their freedom of religion.
Alphabets news gave a grand total of 19 seconds of airtime to the story
There are 60 million Catholics in the US. The Catholic vote will be the most important swing vote this year. So it’s not just a major policy issue, it is one with massive political implications. Yet, 19 seconds of news coverage remains the only attention given by the evening broadcast networks.
- ABC World News – ZERO seconds of coverage. But, last night there was time for a full report on sleep apnea and Katie Couric discussing how she met Queen Elizabeth; how she wore a peach coat and “a lovely peach hat.”
- CBS Evening News – a brief 19 seconds of coverage on the evening the lawsuit became public. ZERO coverage last night. But there was time in the broadcast for a Cincinnati Reds baseball fan lucky enough to catch two home runs in left field.
Today for the third night in a row the broadcast networks have refused to cover this correctly.
—————–
Yawn . Going to watch I.D. Night all.
Can’t leave out NBC news.
- NBC Nightly News – ZERO seconds of coverage. But last night there was time to squeeze in a story on a new computer app that shows America’s eating habits, “graphic evidence” of how we eat badly late at night.
@dd
Fact remains, the vast majority of AMERICANS get their news from Broadcast News and online News sites. Cable News is Dead!!!
@steve perry the wheel in the sky keeps on turning
What is (and call you can do)that? ‘Mr Perfect?
You seem to not know the difference between a typo like call instead of all and some people that come in here and type looser instead of loser and their instead of there….
@Ratboy
Oh NOES He said cable news is dead. ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK. Call names gogogogogo!!!
@Ratboy….
and it is not aimed at FOX as you so clearly tried to spin
I tried to spin? When? He was attacking hannity and oreilly…..You really are something…..
Also, cable news will be dead pretty soon. Everything is going digital. News, movies, shows, video games. Everything. So Fox News needs to hurry up and jump on that band wagon called the internet. I give it another 10 years TOPS.
Woops 10 was suppose to be 20.

Most of the 60 million Catholics practice birth control in some fashion of their choosing. They have figured it out. It is a Law student at Georgetown University, a man in TN and the President that can’t figure out birth control. The Catholic Church is fairly confidant that abstention work. Most News agencies are oblivious of these facts and wish to focus on something they understand. Fashion and baseball. Retail theropy and Baseballs been very very good to me!
What did the Queen wear when she met with Katie Couric?
and catching home run balls are important, Were the home runs hit by reds players or the opposing team? If it was the opposing team did the Reds get credit for the out? They need all the help they can get.

Cable News continues to make money because they keep raising the cost to cable subscribers. Between March of 2008 and March of 2012, Time Warner Cable increased cable rates on average 11% per year.
Many of the younger people that I know do not subscribe to cable. They have gone back to free TV, the internet, with Hulu and Netflix.
I dropped cable also and I am joining them. It is hard to find anything good on cable.
MSMBC only gets their webpage hit because of the defaulting of home pages by Microsoft IE or use of Live.com. It’s not because people are turning to MSNBC for news, it’s just their starting point.
I’d be interested to see a comparison between something lke DrudgeReport and these news sites.
MSMBC only gets their webpage hit because of the defaulting of home pages by Microsoft IE or use of Live.com.
It’s monthly UNIQUE hits. People change their homepage in 2-3 easy steps….73 million…..

Rush Limbaugh Bust In Hall of Famous Missourians Sticks Taxpayers With $1,100 Security Tab
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — The Missouri House has spent more than $1,100 in taxpayer money on a security camera to keep watch over a new bronze bust of conservative commentator Rush Limbaugh, the House clerk said Thursday.
Clerk Adam Crumbliss said he authorized the camera after discussions with Republican legislative leaders because of concerns the sculpture of Limbaugh’s head and shoulders might be vandalized.
“We recognize that there was a level of controversy around it, and we want to make sure that property is protected,” Crumbliss said. “We’ve had lots of calls, and some calls and complaints have been a little beyond the pale.”
Limbaugh was inducted into the Hall of Famous Missourians last week during a closed-door ceremony in the House chamber as police stood guard to keep out any uninvited political opponents or protesters.
