CBS NEWS’ “FACE THE NATION” POSTS ITS BEST MAY SWEEP DELIVERY IN VIEWERS SINCE MAY 1994 AND HOUSEHOLDS SINCE MAY 2006
FOR THE MAY 2012 SWEEP, “FACE THE NATION” IS FIRST IN VIEWERS
“FACE THE NATION” IS UP +5% IN HOUSEHOLDS AND +4% IN VIEWERS COMPARED TO LAST MAY
CBS News’ FACE THE NATION posted its best May Sweep delivery in viewers since May 1994 and households since May 2006. For the May 2012 Sweep, FACE THE NATION was first in viewers (2.84m) and households (2.0/06, tied with NBC). FACE THE NATION is also up +5% in households (from 1.9/05) and +4% in viewers (2.73m) compared to last May.
In the 2011-2012 season (most current), FACE THE NATION was up +5% in households (2.1/06 from 2.0/05), +6% in viewers (2.98m from 2.83m) and +14% in adults 25-54 (0.8/03 from 0.7/03) compared to last year and is first in adults 25-54 (tied with NBC). In the 2011-2012 season, FACE THE NATION posted its best deliveries in households, viewers and adults 25-54 since the 2008-2009 season.
FACE THE NATION is broadcast on Sundays at 10:30 AM, ET (check local listings) on the CBS Television Network. Mary Hager is the executive producer.
